My family and I like to go here frequently, especially on special occasions. The food is decent and the atmosphere is great. They should improve on cleaning the floors because it’s ALWAYS sticky whenever I go. The toilets in the bathrooms sometimes wouldn’t even flush! I also feel really uncomfortable when the workers would sometimes stare at us while we’re eating, like they’re watching what we eat so they can count towards the bill. Also, the lady in the front is extremely rude. I understand if it’s a busy day, but it was not. Bad service, but decent food and atmosphere!

Loved the food and massive selection I’m used to in California but here crawdads and frog legs are a rarity, even the chicken wings were amazing, not the usual fatty Buffalo wings but big meaty wings. Every buffet I’ve been to if they’re serving crab it costs more and everyone pays the same price, their system of charging more for only those who want crab and basically spying on everyone to make sure the non-crab customers are not helping themselves to crab is ridiculous. Only one in our party of 4 had crab and the server charged us for«2 seafood» so after a brief interrogation convinced her to charge us for«1 seafood». The entrance area is a disaster. Those trying to check in for a table run into the line of people trying to pay and leave, this all happens in a very small space and on a busy weekend it’s horrendous. How these areas are not separated is stupefying, have never seen this before.

Will never go there again. Visiting family and we had a party of 9. The lady seating us would not allow us to push tables together. She said it would block people from getting in and out of the dining are. I basically called her out pointing out the fact that it was nowhere near blocking people. She said we would have to wait 20 minutes or sit at different tables. I basically told her we will got to a restaurant that respect it’s patrons… and we would never come here again. And we won’t. Awful customer service.

Good food: fresh ingredients that are served at proper temperatures and constant monitoring of the entire buffet area is done here… so your plate runneth over! Cleanliness: Servers would immediately bus emptied tables and remove soiled dishware with courtesy. Cleaning the floors after messy toddlers had left their mark with patience and thoroughness. A wonderful mix of young, well-aged, working folks, families and couples could be seen dining and the hum of conversation hangs in the air like the aromas of the many varied dishes that can be enjoyed. Cost: The prices can’t be beat, a cost effective way to overeat! Enjoy!

Expected this to be an actual Chinese buffet but instead the offerings were severely limited primarily to seafood and fish dishes. Although I do like fish I had hoped for more chicken and beef dishes but these were limited to just a couple that I can recall. The food I did eat was OK but a couple of offerings, it was obvious the food had been sitting awhile as a few items were tough to chew, dry, and bland. What bothered me most though was the floor around the food tables. It was slick and greasy and I did slip several times. It is a nice place in terms of appearances and spacious. The wait staff was friendly and quick with refills on drinks. Could have been better, hopefully improvements will be made in terms of food selection.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times. I honestly love it, they have great food. After 3:30 you can pay to upgrade your meal and get crab legs, crayfish and some other seafood options. But they offer different fish and seafood options during the dinner hour without the upgrade. The coconut shrimp is awesome! They also allow take out by the pound. They also have sushi and a Mongolian grill. It’s clean, the food is hot and affordable. Can’t beat it.

If you like being hovered over as you eat his is the place to go. Just after lunch they want to go home and our server literally paced back and forth for us to finish.

Went here for Father’s Day. The wait was long but I believe they were running a seafood/crab leg special for that occasion so that was to be expected. We wasted some time at the new hyvee and that worked out well. We were seated and then very loudly this obnoxious music came over the speakers, its apparently a happy birthday type thing which they proceeded to play 3 other times during our dining experience. It was so loud you had to stop your convo until it was over. They may need to look into turning that down a bit. So the food… I am not exaggerating that there were only 3 count em 3 Chinese entrée dishes to choose from. I wasn’t in the mood for crab legs so this left me very limited. It was general Tso chicken, a pork dish and a beef dish. That was all! Besides those it was egg rolls, crab Rangoon, weird fish type dishes that I couldn’t make fin or tails of. I just felt so limited in my choices. I did enjoy the crab Rangoon bc they were tiny half dollar size so it was fun to just pop em in your mouth. They did have sushi which looked fine, tasted ok, as most buffet sushi somehow is just a lesser quality then when you order your own rolls at a place dedicated to the art. No ice cream machine, instead they provide a cooler to scoop out of, with all the kiddos around it kinda grossed me out because they would pull their arm out of there with ice cream on the sides and lick it off, what if they went back for seconds?! Licked arm would touch the ice cream. I’m not usually weird about stuff like that but having a communal self scoop ice cream station just doesn’t seem right.

The restaurant has had a major refurbishment. Everything is shiny and new. Under new management, I think? However, everything is exactly the same as before. Same recipes, same dishes. Much like when the Teppanyaki Grill opened, there are all you can eat crab legs, if you pay for the upcharge. The crab legs were good. Everything else seems to be exactly the same. From the Mongolian Grill to the Sushi Bar, to the«ice cream freezer.» One thing that is noteworthy, is this is one of the few places you can get whole«crack and eat» crawfish here. That in and of itself, is pretty rare in Lincoln. If you liked it before, you will welcome it back. If you didn’t like it before, very little has changed. An average, Asian Buffet. Nothing really stands out as amazing. But it’s a solid place as far as buffet’s go.

If you’re familiar with the Grand China Buffet in Omaha off of Dodge and 118th, then Asian Buffet will be no different for you. Same owners and host Simon, who has traveled to the new Lincoln store to help with the opening for a while. As you can see, I have frequented the Omaha location pretty frequently… I can recognize Simon!(The Asian parents love the all you can eat clams, crab, and crawfish… we end up here a lot) Since a lot of our family and friends from Lincoln would drive all the way to Omaha for the buffet, it’s going to be very convenient for all the Asians in Lincoln to now get their seafood fix right in town. At $ 14/person for adults and $ 8 for kids, its a pretty good deal to eat all the mussels, crawfish, crab legs, and clams you want. It would cost more than that to buy it from the store and prepare it yourself. As for the other foods there, there is slightly less selection in comparison to the Omaha location, I think mainly due to space constraints. Most all of the American-Chinese favorites are still available. Quick service in clearing plates, having fresh food available at all times, and refilling the crab(most important ;)). It’s a huge step up from the previous asian buffet tenant.
