We were pleasantly surprised by the all you can eat sushi option for $ 20 on a Tuesday evening. Great selection! The 2 of us sampled the soups, apps, seaweed salad and sushi. YUM! The crab rangoons may have been the best either of us have ever had. Next time I might try one of the entrees included in the AYCE but sushi was what I was craving tonight. It wasn’t very busy due to the weather but I must say the service was excellent. Extremely attentive and our food came out surprisingly fast. Worth the drive across town!

Absolutely the best sushi in town. Make sure to try all you can eat on Sundays for $ 20 and Tuesday lunch for $ 13. Other great Asian dishes include an outstanding curry chicken. It’s a beautifully decorated place and has great service. A must stop for Sushi lovers in Lincoln.

The food was good but the service was slow. The restaurant was chilly. The waiter was very upbeat!

Our server was really great! The food did take a while to get out though. We ordered a avocado ball for appetizer and four different rolls. Great presentation and the food was all very tasty, my favorite was the crunchy roll. I take one star off for a very cold restaurant though! I had to keep my coat on to stay warm.

I loved the sushi! I recommend the crunch roll and rainbow roll. Gorgeous presentation & we had a friendly, upbeat waiter! He kept our water glasses full and made small talk. My only complaint is the time between ordering and receiving our food was a little long(& the restaurant was fairly empty). It was also a little chilly inside. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re interested in reasonably priced sushi. The atmosphere is different than any other restaurant I’ve been too — it’s a little unconventional, but makes for a nice time!

Went here for the first time last Tuesday and had an amazing experience! When we got there we were informed they had all you can eat sushi for $ 20 per person but that also included regular chiense and appetizers. We had an awesome meal and were able to try many different rolls and accommodate all the people in our party without spending a ton of money! This will definitely be a place I visit again!

I visited again and the service had dramatically decreased. I visited on a Friday evening, granted they were busy. However, the service was poor, quality of sushi was poor, the rolls seems to all be the same, and were overpriced for the lack of variety. The best part of the meal was the seaweed salad and alcoholic beverages. With all the competing sushi bars in Lincoln, I would recommend trying elsewhere.

Our first impression was that dining at Lincoln’s new Asian Fusion restaurant was going to be something really special. It appears no expense has been spared in the creation of this restaurant. A brand new building, unique and modern in its architecture and interior design, with high end materials, lighting, and furnishings. Service started out well and then gradually fell apart as the restaurant got a few more diners — however it was never more than ¼th full. Lack of attention was one issue. The other was understanding of the menu. And they could have been friendlier. Presentation and plating of the food was impressive. Too bad the taste, texture, and technique of the food was not. Simply put — the worst sushi we have EVER had! And I’ve eaten sushi for 17 years all over the USA and in Japan. So I’ve stumbled across bad sushi before — but this took it to a whole new level. We ate ¼th of our meal and then spoke to a manager. I was honest with him. I complimented him on the beauty of the restaurant and the presentation of the food and then told him that I considered this to be very poor sushi. He thanked me for my opinion and said he’d speak to the chef. He returned later and offered us a 10% discount on our bill. We paid and walked out leaving ¾th of our meal on the table.

I like it when the staff treats you like family. It was fairly crowded. The modern décor was inviting and the food was great. My wife and I love sashimi and sushi. Overall, we were both satisfied and the owner even personally approached us interested in what we though.

The food was delicious and presented very well. Most staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is their prices. I don’t mind paying extra for sushi, but $ 13 for a somewhat small plate of sesame chicken is a little too much for me. Go here for the Wednesday special or all you can eat sushi!

We have come here a few times for sushi and it never disappoints. On sundays they have an all you can eat sushi deal for $ 20 a person and they have quite a few options you can choose from. It also comes with an appetizer of crab rangoons or edamame and soup. The only down side of it is that if you have more than 5 pieces of sushi left they’ll charge you extra for the roll.
Overall the food was very good and their plating is beautiful. We’ll definitely be going back again.

This is my second time at this restaurant. Both times ordered the tempura udon soup. This review is specifically for the udon soup. It was very good. Not a lot of the«Japanese» restaurants in Lincoln have this soup so I’m happy. I believe this restaurant is Chinese owned. So I would recommend people who didn’t have a good experience to try that type of food instead. Love the fact they play k-pop. Korean-pop. Haven’t heard that in a while. Haha .

Unique hot spot in south Lincoln for Asian Fusion food. They have Japanese and Chinese on the menu which includes sushi. We had a great experience recently eating here and I am surprised by all the negative reviews. First, the Building is modern and full of, well, pizazz for a lack of a better word. Lots of LED lights and fancy fixtures. Nothing else really like it in Lincoln. As for the food, The hot and sour soup was excellent, as was the crab Rangoon which had lots of crab in it. They spend a little extra time on presentation by adding dressed up fruits or veggies to the plates. Creative and imaginative. The Chinese is excellent as well. I have had the Peanut Butter Chicken, as well as the orange chicken and both were very tasty and fresh. We stopped in and tried some of the sushi as well, it was ok, nothing over the top. We had the Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Passion Roll, and the crazy house roll. All were good with the Passion Roll being the best of the bunch with spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail and topped with tuna and a spicy mayo. One thing we did appreciate was their menu is split with raw and cooked rolls so you can order accordingly if you are with people who have an aversion to raw fish. This is surprisingly absent at most sushi places. FYI, Wednesday from 5 – 7 they offer a special where its buy one Chinese entrée, get one half off. Not a bad deal with most of their entrée’s are around $ 10, and the second of EOLV will then run you around $ 5.

The place looks amazing. The lighting, decorations, and silverware makes it look like a sushi restaurant from LA. However, the food wasn’t amazing. Sushi was average, the food is pricy, and the rice and lo mein was pretty dry. I wish the put more effort into food and service than decorating.

I was surprised when I saw so many negative reviews. My friend and I had a late Saturday lunch at Asian Fusion and I was impressed with décor, food and service. Upon entering, I was very impressed with décor. LOVED the chandy’s. I was in tights and a tshirt so felt like I could have tried a little harder. It would definitely be a nice place for a date or a fun place for drinks. Even the bar was lit up! The service from the beginning was wonderful. They weren’t very busy so it seemed like the young woman attending out table was standing nearby, just waiting for my glass to reach the half empty mark. She even set up our plate when we sat, pouring our soy sauce, opening the chopsticks. I thought that was a bit much but thought of it as a possible cultural thing and just let it happen. We started off by splitting an order of crab rangoon. Very tasty. It had nice large chunks of crab in it. AND I loved the pretty presentation of it. Before we even finished our rangoons, we received our rolls. I ordered the white tuna, a shrimp avocado roll and The Thunder Roll(lobster and avocado). I’ve have very good fresh sushi in my travels so I know what to expect when I’m in landlocked Nebraska. And I was impressed. First things first, the presentation was again fantastic as my rolls arrived in it’s own boat! As far as the food, I was pleased. I don’t think I could EVER hate white tuna. It’s so soft and buttery and amazing! Nothing was overly fishy. The shrimp asparagus was fresh, good, nothing to write home about. NOW, the Thunder Roll. Oh man the thunder roll. This might just be one of my favorite roll combos ever. The lobster salad mixed perfectly with the meaty avocado and tempura shrimp. LOVEDLOVED this roll. There was a long list of the ‘cheap’ rolls and another list of the fancy ones. I spent about $ 30 for a fancy roll, two normal ones and half order of rangoon and took several pieces home. So, in comparison to other sushi places, I think this is comparable. It’s not expensive as far as sushi places are concerned but it’s expensive because well, it’ sushi! I will be back!
