Great laid back little bar. I found the bartenders both attentive and quite friendly. Not to mention beautiful! Make sure to stop in as often as you can.

Went there after a husker game. ‘Twas basically empty and it was apparent after sitting there a while that the bartenders were the reason. Tried talking to them and they were rude to my friends and me. I told them a story about my friend getting kicked out of a different bar and they threatened to kick us out! Their only customers at the time! I decided that if I was going to get kicked out I’d earn it so I started dancing on the bar. Thanks for the memories Captain Jack! I’m sure their other bartenders can’t be as bad.

A great spot to watch soccer matches with a crowd that is into the game as it unfolds.

Captain Jack’s is home to the Lincoln Chapter of the American Outlaws(Supporters of US Soccer). Come check out all of the US Men’s/Women’s soccer games with fellow soccer fans. It is easy to miss even though it is in the heart of downtown Lincoln. It is located next to the Starbucks and Cliff’s Smoke Shop. They have a full service bar but they do not serve food. On your average day, it can be your typical sports bar with a mild crowd noise. On game days, expect a packed house and get rowdy(in a good way). Get to the bar early if you want to have a seat because it is not a large bar. The service is always friendly and quick.
