If you work downtown, stop over as the Terminal Building at 11th & O for lunch some time. The sandwiches are yummy, and the service is fantastic! The owner, Danny, has been there every time I’ve been in. He’s always joking with the customers, & if you answer his daily trivia question correctly, you win a peppermint patty to go with your meal. Plus, there’s plenty of retro collectibles & old Lincoln photos to look at while you eat :)
It’s a nice local alternative to Subway or Blimpie’s. My only complaint for this place would be that they try to do TOO much. Subs, burritos, and hot dogs are only a part of the menu! If they’d focus on their strength as a sandwich shop, it’d work in their favor.
