I am short and round. 5″ 10′ with a 28-ish inch inseam, and im bigger around the middle than id like to be. I had gotten a pair of Joseph and Feiss pants from another clothier earlier in the week in preparation for a job interview, but found that what fits in the store and what fits when you are wearing 2 shirts under it are two different things. Rather than return to that store, knowing they don’t have my waist size on a few hours notice, I tried Casual Male XL. I was pleasantly surprised. The store has great clothes, in easily accessible sizes from 46 – 48 up to considerably larger(I currently wear a 52″). Try finding nice, visually attractive, classic styles in dress clothes in a 52⁄28 and see where that gets you! I worked with the sales manager and we looked at pants, and compared fabrics, I discusses my reservations with cost due to a recent job loss and he allayed them with facts and by letting me see that the slightly more expensive pant was really the better choice for several reasons. We talked ties, we talked shoes-I spent a little more than I wanted to but I looked GREAT for my interview today. I felt much more confident and put together, and it’s because I was able to find what I needed, in store, on a few hours notice, in the sizes that I should be wearing, not he sizes that I think I should wear. They are a bit hard to get to going north on 48th, since you have to turn West onto O, drive for a bit, and circle around, but they are right on the corner next to the golf store.
