This is an update to my original 4-star review. My first visit went very well, and he did a great job. Second time, it was decent… he went a bit too high on my medium fade and a bit too short up top(high & tight military cut). The third time, he basically just gave me a buzz cut… not the fade that I had requested. I’m going to have to look for another place…

Really disappointed. Read the reviews on here and decided to «stay local» instead of my normal barber shop. Walked in, friendly service. When it was my turn I asked for a fade with a hard line. Left with some weird flat top military style cut that was not at all what I wanted. I guess I learned my lesson and will stick with going to Roseville. Now, if only my hair would grow back.

I love this place! Great haircuts at better rates then the competitors. Couldn’t be more happier that a local place is doing awesome mens’ haircuts!

Had some great cuts and some decent cuts here. Couldn’t love the atmosphere more, and Jerry has some stories that’ll keep you plenty entertained. The one thing that can be a drag is the amount of time it can take. I’ve never run a stopwatch, but definitely have left thinking that I would have gone elsewhere if I’d known how long it was going to take. Overall I’d take this over SuperCuts or Great Clips all day!

I asked for a Medium Fade. I received a military high and tight. That was blended horribly! From the beginning I noticed he was cutting my hair with an injured arm. But he said not to worry it will be perfect. The haircut was far from perfect. I’m not sure if he is losing his vision the old man is like 80 years old. When I told him that I’m unhappy how it looks. He got angry with me and said I was trying to get a Free Haircut. I will never come back to this Old and outdated shop. And I would recommend you pass on it also! Go to Champ Cuts, or Super Cuts Instead. Waste of money. $ 15 dollars down the drain

Yep. A good olé fashion barber shop. Jerry the barber gives a great man’s haircut. Good conversation too. I’ll be back.

Hey, I’m really surprised that this place isn’t already on Unilocal. Its only been at this location for two decades(Hwy 65, east side of highway just as you’re coming into Lincoln from the north). When you walk in, you see that this place has some history. Jerry, the barber and owner, has been a longtime businessman here. You’ll definitely find it to be a MAN’s barbershop. No frills, no styling, no blow driers. Just plain ‘ol «cut my hair» and chat about politics, hunting, fishing and sports… and girls. ;) If you are in need of a good haircut and want to feel like you’re back in time… this is the place. Oh, and take a look around the shop… Jerry has personally handmade the cabinets and large mirrors on the walls. Quite a wood craftsman! Asked why he made them, it replied«because a man just can’t laze around the house… he has to stay busy». Wow…this is what America is all about. I’ll be back! Haircuts run about $ 12 – 13 and YES, he shaves your neck and sideburns and then gives you that soothing massage with that big funky electric massager. UPDATE12/23/2014: Jerry has retired but his partner carries on the business. Still the same great barbershop!
