Fringe and Tassel Costumes

The selection is small and the hours limited (on Saturday, it’s something like 10 – 2). They’re tucked away past the viaduct in the Haymarket, not really near anything except the (metered) parking under the viaduct.
The place is small and packed. They sell and rent costumes and wigs, and they sell stage makeup. I come for the stage makeup; otherwise, if you want Ben Nye or Kryolan you’ll have to go to Omaha. The selection is small but the staff knows their stuff. One of the staffers (he might own the place; I’m not sure) occasionally directs at the local community theater, so sometimes there are interesting items that got ordered for a show but didn’t get used (found my favorite concealer this way). Very helpful fellow.
