Goodwill

Much larger Goodwill than most I have been to. Large selection of clothes and HUGE selection of purses, which doesn’t excite me much, but my wife was excited. Store had a musty, «old» smell to it, but I guess that is somewhat to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have been a thrift shop enthusiast for many years. I played along when all the Goodwills raised their prices a few years back because I love finding a unique something or other, and your stores have a huge selection.
Recently I visited a location, took my clothing choices to the counter and noticed I was being charged an additional dollar for each piece. When I asked the clerk told me plus size clothing cost more. What? Why? And may I speak to a manager please.
The manager went on to explain to me that it was their policy to charge a dollar more. It was standard in the industry. What? I understand that it may cost the manufacturers a bit more to make these items, but it is my understanding that everything is donated here.
Feeling discriminated against, I left the clothes and called their headquarters, only to find out Omaha does not charge extra at their Goodwills, it is a choice made by the Lincoln owners. Omaha contacts said they have never and will never charge extra.
I will never shop here again.

Larger store but many things are over priced and everthing is 99 cents or higher.
