This office extensively uses physician assistants, which creates confusion regarding prescriptions and treatment and in general provides a lower level of care. Both my parents were patients at this office for 5 years. They have since switched and are much happier. We had a number of problems with little or no communication even regarding urgent issues. They also tended to attribute things to old age rather than pursuing a solution. My mom had episodes of severe back pain over the period of a couple years. It took a different doctor’s office to find the root cause of the problem – shingles without a rash. I recommend googling any doctor’s name followed by the word«rating». This will help you find a good doctor.

I was planning on setting up primary care physicians for myself and my husband from this practice. I was recently in a car accident and in pain… but aren’t many people calling a dr office feeling discomfort? Lydia(I think that’s her name) finally answered after a very long wait and I asked her to wait just a moment(another dr had just walked up where I was) and she was SO rude and unpleasant to deal with I changed my mind about going to that office. I don’t know how the Drs are, but we have to deal with the office first and going to a dr appt is bad enough without subjecting myself to rudeness and attitude. Would have liked to have a local woman dr but… oh well.

Dr Makieve is a good doctor but his front office leaves a lot to be desired. Unwilling to help and incompetent at best.
