Long John Silver Restaurant Store No-5412

I have never actually been inside this LJS, was really surprised how nice it was (given the outside appearance). Counter person was really nice/​friendly, food is usually good for what it is.

The drive-​thru wait is horrible and the staff is slow. The food is delicious, but too expensive and by the time I received mine, it wasn’t fresh or hot. I used to love Long John Silver’s but their prices are outrageous for what they serve and the drive-​thru should take 5 – 7 minutes, not 12 to 15.

Their food and service times have improved over the last few months. I think that the counter has had some training because they seem more efficient than before. Definitely worth a second look.

The food is on the greasy side. It is the service what needs a major overhaul. It took over 15 minutes to get through the drive thru. Thats 15 minutes from when I told the speaker what I wanted to having it in my hand. I ordered something that was featured on the menu. when I did get it every thing was just dropped in the bag. Nothing was wrapped or placed in a box or anything. Six months ago I would have given this a 5-​star ratting. It is going down hill.

We’ve developed a weekend habit of doing the grocery/​Target run, then stopping here for a quick feed to take home. National chain fast food spots can be hum-​drum, but I’ve been very pleased with their freshside grille dinners/​bowls which give me a quick, very tasty and satisfying salmon/​rice/​veggie/​corn cob-​on-​a-​stick fix. And I must mention the incredible breadsticks – I always get a side order of two extra and if I’m going to consume white bread, this is the one to go for.
The pleasant and hard-​working women who work here and an occasional extra cook remember their customers, give you coupons aplenty, and the overall pleasantness of the décor including a really nice, recently refurbished women’s bathroom make this a five-​star for me.
