Finally found someone to help me cut a piece of wood after wandering around for 20 min. Was then treated like an idiot for not knowing that a 2×2 is actually only 1.5“x1.5″.
I would not recommend going here.

I have bought some major items from this store. I have purchased a storm door, washer dryer, and this week a hot water heater. I needed it installed, so I paid for Lowe’s installation; however it is a subcontractor that completes the job. Well, Lowe’s has skimmed in this area, because the bozos that came to install it were less than good. Check out my other reviews for King and Sons Plumbing Company here in town. I am really disappointed in their service. Hey Lowe’s, how do you ruin a loyal customer like me? Make them pay ridiculous rates for poor service and the product doesn’t work. NO HOT WATER!

I had a poor customer service experience here today. I stopped to look at appliances at 12:30 on a Sunday. They were slammed. Very busy. I stood in the appliances for 20 minutes, along with 10 other people who seemed to be waiting for someone to help them. There appeared to be one employee working in appliances. Who could have predicted that customers would be there? On a Sunday. At 12:30. Really Lowe’s? Basic rule of retail is if you don’t have enough staff to help your customers, you are going to lose business. I expected better.

Decent selection, decent prices. I like it better then home depot because they have more items to choose from. if I had one complaint its they usually only have 1 person at the checkout line making you use the self checkout which can be a little annoying.

I actually really like Lowes. They seem to have a great selection and I almost always find what I need when I go there. The prices seem less then Home Depot on everyday items by a small but noticeable margin. I usually price compare both of these stores and have found this lowes is not only bigger then Home Depot in size and item selection, but they are nearly every time priced lower. That said, they both typically carry different brands on items so it pays to shop around as I have found some items with features I like at Home Depot or Menards. Still, always worth a look here first.
