Marden’s

My whole extended family is in love with this place! It is a must stop any time we are up at my Dad’s lake house. It is a surplus store, like a Big Lots, but with a huge clothing and shoe section, and also a hardware store in the basement. I don’t think I’ve ever left empty-​handed. I’ve gotten designer label clothes for under 10 bucks… for instance a purple dress I bought recently for 7.88 that I get complimented on every time I wear it. I’ve gotten 1.00 name brand underwear. Half price hair care products. We have a 10.00 Yankee Swap every 4^th of July and this is the best place to find the most random, tacky item ever. I am not a big shopper, but it is a fun kind of shopping because the low price tags are always a nice surprise. Perfect place to go on a rainy day in Lincoln.
