I know Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm already has a review thread, but it is focused on the sanctuary rather than the camp. I wanted to highlight the camp specifically for this review. This camp was one of the cutest and most engaging summer camps my daughter has had the fortune to attend. She was in the camp for kids around age 10(I can’t remember the name of her group at the moment). Her councilors were intelligent, very funny and full of energy. One day, upon our arrival, two of the male councilors burst into a loud rendition of «Maria» from West Side Story, but substituted in my daughter’s name, «Sophia.» I don’t know if the councilors for the other groups were as entertaining and witty but hers were quite extraordinary. The kids made candles, camped over night one evening, interacted with the animals at the farm and learned quite a bit about the geology, flora and fauna of the area. I will mention, though, that Lincoln MA, where the camp is located, is remarkably dense with deer ticks. Have your kids spray a strong insect repellent at least on their shoes, socks and lower legs if you are squeamish about the chemicals.
