The shop has only been open a short time, both the future of coffee (and cycling) is bright in Lincoln. The coffee outpaces anything roasted in Lincoln and the space is magnificent. Don’t miss this new gem if your downtown.

Method brings a new concept to Lincoln: a space serving coffee & craft beer, and selling/​repairing bikes.
The first coffee shop outside of Omaha to serve Archetype coffee, they brew a top notch cup of coffee that is right up there with Cultiva for the best coffee in town. The coffee & espresso menu is focused, with a clear emphasis on creating top notch drinks that are focused on the coffee beans. The prices are also on par with Cultiva, so expect to pay more than your average coffee shop, but also expect a better than average drink. Method also has a limited selection of pastries from Le Quartier, though it sounds like they intend to quickly expand their food selection.
Method has a number of different bikes for sale, all under $ 500, as well as a self-​service repair spot alongside their repair counter. I am very curious to see if/​how this takes off!
At the time of this review (May 2016) they are still waiting for their liquor license.
I’ve had a couple opportunities to talk to Jason, Method’s owner, and he is very excited about his novel business. I definitely recommend stopping by to say hi and check his place out!
