We love pizza ranch! The staff is always incredibly friendly and the signature pizzas are great. My wife especially likes the Tuscan Roma pizza and they always put one in right away for us if it’s not already out. The salad bar is substantial and they do a great job of not getting too crazy and sticking to what they do well. I would say the atmosphere is one of the best aspects tho. Very family friendly and a great attentive staff. Pizza ranch is also very involved in the community and seems to be a great organization top to bottom. Cactus bread ftw!!!

Pizza Ranch. Bargain priced Pizza and Chicken stuffed into a Cowboy Western and dropped into the heart of America. What can go wrong with that? Very little actually. My initial thought was who came up with this idea? It sounds like the hormonal pangs of a third trimester craving which of course I will never be able to partake. Ladies we thank you for all you do! I then turn my need to understand the Western-Pizza-Chicken concept to my younger life and the 2:00AM cravings due to an alcohol fueled night of imbibing. But I digress. The fact remains that the concept exists and it works! So we decided to indulge our bulge and order both Chicken and Pizza. If your going to go big you may as well grow big! Yes I have a Pizza Ranch Rewards Card. I suggest you get one too if you plan to partake and fill your need to feed. You get real cash rewards for every dollar you spend and those dollars can ride on that card for as long as you choose. If you find yourself a little short on cash one week those rewards can be rather handy when applied to your order. They offer delivery in a pizza themed car so that everyone on your street knows what you have a hankering for. You can mosey on in and carry your goodies out or stay for a while and partake in the ALLYOUCANEATBUFFET for those in life that are in the«Big Eaters Club». I however prefer the drive thru window when preparing to stuff myself. That window is just that, a window! Perfectly positioned by accident or planned, that window allows you a perfect view of that afore mentioned buffet as you wait for your phoned in order. The wait is minimal but the free show was nice. On this evening buffet: Gluttony. They were busy. They are doing something right. The buffet was surrounded by people obviously enjoying or over enjoying the variety of samplings. The crowd would ebb and flow as consumers rushed to new offerings from the friendly staff. Like a dog hanging it’s head from a car window I couldn’t get enough, stretching see more of the train wreck that’s called all you can eat. So what did we order? Chicken. Wings. Not«bar» style which of course they have. We had ordered the 10-piece Chicken Box with the base price of $ 14.99 that’s a $ 1.49 per piece for those of you that like unit costs. However, we had upgraded that order after a somewhat confusing conversation during the order process we finally found ourselves on the same menu page and they ordered us the ALLWHITEMEAT and ALLWINGS Chicken Box. The up charge was only $ 2.00-bucks so the box set us back $ 16.99 or $ 1.69 a wing. Keep in mind these are the full wing not a bar version. We also ordered a large pizza which again took some thought and argument in the household as we tried to decide on one of their many«Ranch Favorites». It came down to the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo which is exactly what it sounds like and is buttery, rich and creamy delicious or the Bacon Cheeseburger. I know, opposite ends of the pizza spectrum. The Cheeseburger pizza is beef, onions, pickles(request extra), two cheeses and bacon. We arm wrestled and obviously she won so we were picking up the cheeseburger pizza on skillet crust(thick). Yes you can get gluten free crusts. Their specialty pizzas are a great value at $ 12.99 and they load my mail box, email and every order with coupons. So we got a large for the price of a medium $ 10.99. Ah but it doesn’t stop there! Our total order was $ 27.98 but we had a $ 10.00 reward on our account from previous visits, so we drove away after Uncle Sam getting his share, for a total cost of $ 19.60. Not bad. It smelled great and luckily we didn’t have too far to drive. The pizza was hot, and buried with real bacon pieces. We added a drizzle of yellow mustard and partook. Delicious! Now I’m not a meat and bone kind of guy so the wings aren’t my thing but I tried them and they were amazing. Moist, and that crispy coating… Wow! I watched her drain that box wing by glorious wing. No matter if you choose to pick up or have it delivered, either go on line for the menu or have them bring you one each time because it appears to change somewhat frequently as I see odd items added or removed as they succeed or fail. Sandwich roll-ups and breakfast pizza for example.
It’s not gourmet. There is no magnificent pizza oven filled with oaky wood burning at 500 degrees. It’s good. It’s cheap. If you like a buffet I think you’d like this place. I treat the buffet like bone-in meat, no thank you. I would recommend this if your feeding a family or need a quick grab for a football party. Try it and support a locally owned place. Because clearly everyone else is. Chow for now

Chicken and pizza were left on buffet too long. Chicken gravy is like thin cream of chicken soup. Cheese breadsticks were the standout item. When we ‘ordered’ a fave pizza for the buffet, it seemed undercooked.

My wife and I joined friends at the Pizza Ranch for the first time today; our friends had eaten there before and recommended it. My wife didn’t care for the experience but I thought it was great. She would give it two stars and I would give it four. She didn’t care for the pizza, but I thought it was fine, especially the Mac and cheese pizza and the desert pizzas. We did agree that the chicken(fried, not a pizza) at the buffet was some of the best we have ever had anywhere. Even the white meat was tender and moist. It was a popular part of the buffet service and the kitchen kept the container full constantly. The help were very good and friendly, and cleared off tables right away. The cowboy motif is dated and overdone, but we were there for the food. I would like to return but I may have to go alone, unless my wife just wants chicken. Really, the pizza was fine, but that chicken was great. 11/23/2015 We have been back and now my wife loves the food. The chicken remains near the best I have had. The desert pizzas are very flavorful. We have not tried ordering a speciality pizza yet but PR will make them when you arrive. They do feature some unusual ones sometimes along with the standard fare. I wish they would do a flatter crust as I don’t care for dough, but the pizzas are good. A solid four stars for an odd combination of fried chicken and pizza specialties.

I gave this place two stars for entertainment value only… I don’t know if we came on an off night, but this place was literally laughably bad. The only good thing about it is all of the nice cowboy related décor is kept very very clean. This was our first impression and we won’t be coming back. We got there, and before we figured out what we wanted to do, we were charged 28 $ for my wife, myself, a two year old, and a six year old. We were confused and had to ask«can’t we just order a regular pizza?» The gal behind the counter huffed, rolled her eyes, and cancelled the sale… We took a menu, stepped aside to check it out. Joe came out to help us order, and we asked for a regular large beef pizza. When asked what kind of crust we wanted, we asked what kinds they had. Original, flat, and«skillet.» I just had to know, so I asked what was skillet. I was informed, thick, deep dish style. They actually held up their hand and motioned with their fingers, it was three inches deep. I was sold. Skillet it was. We went and sat down, laughed about the wonky service, and waited. About ten minutes later, our pizza arrived. The skillet dough, which I should have know, being a chain restaurant, NOTASADVERTISED. It’s regular dough. Wasn’t deep, wasn’t anything bigger than regular dough. Seemed butterier and flakier biscuit style dough, but it wasn’t any larger than regular dough. Makes me wonder what the regular dough is like… tortilla thin… I want to wedge this in, the only shining star in this place was Amy. Bright, happy, cheerful, over the top customer service. She checked on us a few times, and I have to say, best thing about Pizza Ranch. We ate our very plain, regular pizza, and I just had to know what made this place special. So I got up to check out the buffet. The pizza buffet is small. The chicken«bin» looked like some dry, very old, all day chicken. The salad bar looked like Jackson Pollack was the guy setting out the very cheap looking salad fixins’. It was pretty sad. I’d hate to pay money to eat the buffet. Here’s the kicker. Between the four of us, we had most of the large gone. Sadly, Amy didn’t come over, but a different younger man did come over. I’ve never seen anyone half ass this comment as hard as this kid did: «Uhhh, is there anything else… you guys need…» He seriously said it in a tone that screamed«I don’t give a shit, get out.» I told him that we needed a small box for our two pieces and he actually said to me: «Uhhh, yeah, I know.» in THE biggest dick tone I’ve EVER heard in the service industry. I thought for a second my young brother was waiting on me, it was that awful. He seriously didn’t give a shit. Want to know why? He slouched away, went into the back, and left us sitting there for ten minutes, ready to leave, but no box. As if the circumstances weren’t funny enough, it gets better. After we got tired of waiting for«Who Gives a Rat’s Ass» to come back, I got up and went back to «Eyeroll-Sighing Gal» at the front register. I asked for a small box that can fit two pieces. She took two steps, turned and said, «Wait, chicken or pizza?» I said, pizza. She turned, took another step, turned back around and said, «Uh, wait, I’ll have to ask my manager.» AREYOUKIDDINGME?! AM I BEINGPUNKED?! YOUHAVETOASKYOURMANAGER, TOGIVEME A BOX, FORTWOFREAKINGSMALLPIECESOFMEDIOCREPIZZA?! SERIOUSLY?! Like I said, I’d only come back for the entertainment value alone, because this place is so ridiculously awful. Again, Amy, if you’re reading this, please for the love of everything holy, find a better place to use your magnificent customer services skills and earn the tips you deserve!!! RUN! SAVEYOURSELFFROMTHISPLACE!!! I can’t wait to see what business takes over when this one goes under.

Looking for take-out chicken to replace KFC or Popeyes? This is GMO free. Especially tasty and crisp, not oily. Well seasoned. 12 pieces was enough for 3 people with a couple leftovers.

The Chicken is the best part of the Pizza Ranch. The worst part is «JOE», the Manager he should be Fired, his attitude and customer skills are lacking! The rest of the staff are great!

Great variety of food for a good price. They do an excellent job with their pizza and their fried chicken is some of the moistest you’ll find at a restaurant without being greasy. Angel, my server, was spectacular. She was very attentive, thorough and extremely pleasant.

Called in for delivery to our hotel. We received 10% off for staying at the Stay Bridge Suite. Adam who helped me over the phone was extremely helpful and patient with our order. We decided to try this place because it was pretty cheap. 12.99 for a large with whatever toppings you want on it. You have to try their taco pizza. It looked very weird at first and none of us wanted to try it. But… we all had a slice and ended up asking for more. hahah. The pizza wasn’t bad, nor was it good. It was just pizza, and it satisfied the appetite of the kids we were trying to feed. We also ordered their gluten free pizza which was pretty good according to someone who has had their fair share of gluten free pizza.

My wife and I tried it out as it’s close to where we live. Even with its proximity, we probably won’t be back. The buffet is a little steep at $ 12 or so, and she didn’t want that much, so she ordered off the menu. It took nearly 30 minutes for her to get her ordered meal of chicken and mashed potato’s. I had the buffet and completely finished with my meal even after making a second trip to sample the bland pizza. They claim they made her meal to order and so it takes longer. Interesting then that when it came out it wasn’t hot. It seems to be kid friendly as there were a lot running around. Not a fan.

The pizza selection was small for buffet and the price are too expensive. Sure, they have other stuff, but for the overall value for my family, it just isn’t worth it.

Actually, I liked their chicken more than their pizza. Food was good, if typical for a buffet.

Not good at all. The chicken was fair, but, it’s PIZZA Ranch. We went here for pizza and it was awful! There were so few toppings you really couldn’t taste them. The cheese was scarce and there were only 5 or 6 pizzas on the buffet. Mashers were bland the green beans were bland, the salad was wilted very disappointing. The dessert pizza was very good if you scrape the(once again) scarce toppings into a pile and you’ll get 2 good tasty bites per slice. The real shocker here is the price! $ 12.50 each and my kids(11&12) are counted as «Adults» are you kidding me? So, 4 people was $ 50!!! Get serious. We went to Papa Johns a week or so ago and got 2 large pizzas, cheese sticks and a cookie pizza for about $ 32… And the kicker… It was good! Save yourself the disappointment, go eat somewhere else.

Okay, first of all, based upon the incredibly bad ratings on Unilocal,I would not have come here of my own accord. However, someone very thoughtfully gave me a gift certificate that paid for nearly my whole family so I decided to give it a try. If you are a Unilocaler, and you find it necessary to critique and criticize every restaurant as if it a famous New York establishment, then don’t bother coming here. You won’t like it. You will find way too many things to gripe about. However, if you are a family and your children love CiCi’s pizza, Chuckee Cheese, or something along those lines, then feel free to come in. The pizza itself is very average. I sampled several kinds and none of them were stand outs, but neither were there nearly as apocalyptic as other reviewers claim. It’s not gourmet, but they bend over backwards when you come in to tell you if you don’t see ANY pizza that you might want, let them know and they will bake it and take it to your table. Any pizza. That is a pretty big«customer service» deal, right there. Their chicken was decent, although a tad salty. They also had homemade potato chips, biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, and vegetables. Dessert Pizza’s and ice cream round out the meal. It was a tad expensive at over $ 11 per person, but it was a nice touch that the drink is included in the price which is kind of unusual at buffets. So, overall, it’s not great. But it is passable. It is no where near that bottom dwelling scum suckers that other Unilocalers would have you believe. If you have a picky pallet, then avoid. Otherwise, eat until your stomach hurts and you can feel your cholesterol climb!

Ridiculously expensive $ 12.50 per person… No arcade and crowded. Pizza wasn’t bad neither was the chicken but I’d rather pay $ 5 for all you can eat pizZa at cicis pizza on north 27th st. If u aren’t eating chicken go to cicis even then if all u have is chicken your not getting your money’s worth. Rip off.

I went to lunch to the only Pizza Ranch in Lincoln yesterday with a friend. I was disappointed. I like salad bars and this salad bar left a lot to be desired. Both of us thought the pizza was not very good. The fried chicken and potato wedges looked good. The chicken was cold. The wedges were slightly warm. The restaurant was not packed, but had a decent amount of patrons. After throwing out the first piece of chicken, I though I would try another piece to see if perhaps I could get a hot one. The second piece was definitely warmer and worth eating. A manager was walking around but never stopped at our table to ask about our lunch. Perhaps someone should be checking the temp of the meat on the bar to make sure its not going to make someone sick. One big plus for me at this Pizza Ranch is that Gold Peak Tea is available. GPT is my fave. Bottom line is I would not recommend it and at $ 10 for a lunch buffet, I would gladly go down the road to the Hyvee kitchen for pizza/salad bar or to Valentinos for sure.

A strong basic selection of pizzas, chicken, sides, salads, and desserts. One thing that adds value is that the drink is included in the overall buffet price, unlike some of the Lincoln buffets where a hefty drink price is added to the meal if you want something besides water. The chicken was excellent. The pizzas are good, if not overwhelming. There is a nice variety of pizzas. The dessert pizza seemed spot on. When one adds low price, quality, and quantity, this is an excellent buffet; and I plan to go again the next time I am in Lincoln.

Great customer service, perfect place to bring a family. Pizza is OK and the buffet area seems small, especially when it’s busy. I like that if they don’t have a pizza you want you just have to ask and they will bring you the first slices. People are vultures at dinner time. Would recommend to families and those who don’t mind kids every where

Pizza Ranch, what can I say? Some friends and I decided to make the trek out past 84th street and were not upset about it. Wide array of buffet options including a «build your own pizza» idea where you get first selection out of the oven on slices. The staff was very polite in particular Zach went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a good one. Pizza ranch will be a sometimes treat for myself and the E street players, for fear that we just might die from eating too much food.
