My band played here on tour a few weeks ago, and we loved this venue. It’s new, and we hope it succeeds in town, because the stage is great, the sound system is great, and most importantly: the food — the food is GREAT. Hopefully, more folks in Lincoln will take notice of this spot and make it the place to be!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Lincoln, NE
I’ll admit, if it were not for a surprise party for a friend, I probably would not have gone to red 9. I’m still quite bitter that it has taken over the building where P.O. Pears, a longtime Lincoln staple, used to be. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The lounge-y décor was a far cry from what used to be in that buiding(no wagon wheels or tubas hanging from the ceiling), and very tasteful. We used the upstairs area for the private party, which has a separate bar. Bar service was satisfactory, & the staff set up a table for the hostess to set up her own food. Plenty of «conversation areas». And while my heart broke when I drove by the demolition crew tearing apart the old P.O. Pears sand volleyball courts, red 9 gets an A+ for utilizing it as much-needed parking! I’m looking forward to going back so I can see what has been done with the basement, back room, & most importantly, the old stinky P.O. Pears bathrooms. My fingers are crossed!
