I would echo Karen N’s review about this place almost entirely. There is a certain«what did you expect?» attitude required when staying at C hotels right off the interstate. However, the $ 100 price tag was way out of line with the accomodations, so I ended up feeling more than a little ripped off. The room would have been«ok» at $ 60 a night. Outlet covers cracked in half, ceiling tiles stained, bathtub splintering at all the seams, a tattered non-slip mat lying limp and sad in the yellowed tub. No bed bugs, but the room did seem to belong to a thuggish group of half a dozen flies, eyeballing us from their ceiling perches, waiting to descend in the night and suck the salt off our eyelids. The breakfast was all right but the lobby is tiny; three tables jammed in tight. There was an open green space near the hotel with a bench, some charcoal grills, and even a bag of charcoal and lighter fluid jammed between the stout braches of a tree. Is this some added value, or the leavings of another guest? The hotel itself is sad, stark and desolate. It looks like 1970s communist block housing from the outside. It’s on «O» street about a mile from downtown in a kind of industrial area. Honsetly, the room was better than what you’d expect given the bleak exterior. In sum, get a room in the $ 60 range and you’ll be fine. Otherwise I’d avoid staying here if possible.

We stayed one night on our way to Colorado. It was okay. Nothing special and a bit pricey at $ 74. for what we got. The room was old, but clean and kept up. Bed was firm, pillows okay. Came with a fridge and microwave. Fridge worked fine, didn’t use the microwave. They had a modest breakfast included, which was nice… the usual cereal, breads, «make your own» waffle, juice, coffee and yogurt. Old, but not bad if you just need a place to sleep on your way to your destination.
