Great little place. Very accommodating with nice people running it. Close to the zoo and antelope park. I had the sloppy Joe special — best I can remember. Kids loved it.

I had the turkey sandwich it was ok. My daughter ordered a sundae. It’s not on the menu, but the guy who was there made it for her.

I’m not much of a reviewer on here but I can’t say enough good things about Sips and Subs. Their breakfast is my favorite in Lincoln and their rueben sandwich is the best I’ve ever had(and I love ruebens). The employees behind the counter make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. If sips and subs was located in down town Lincoln it’d be the only place Id ever eat!

Great place for a laid back lunch. Prices are reasonable(I typically pay $ 8 – 9 or so). Very friendly staff that’s good about answering any questions. Everything I’ve had is top notch(club, french dip, and reuben so far), though I’ve only ever had lunch there during weekdays.

One of the best breakfest and lunch spots in Lincoln, NE. This place is 10x better than any chain sandwich shops. I typically get the cajun turkey, philly steak, or the sausage/egg/cheese sandwich.

A staple in Lincoln eateries!!! Sips and subs not only treats you like family, but feeds you that way too. I have had everything on the menu and have not had a disappointment(although I do have my favorites). I would recommend sips and subs to anyone. Do yourself a favor and make time to eat here. P. S. Stop by sips and subs on a Saturday for one of the best burgers in town. As well as some of the best potato salad I’ve ever had!

I love Sips & Subs. From the delious cofffee to the fabulous reuben sandwichs and from scratch deserts this is a place I make a point of visiting often. Good food and big smiles make this a place I count among my favorite to Lincoln.

Sips & Subs is a locally owned joint that was my Lincoln-dwelling brother’s choice for breakfast before the Husker game(they apparently also make a good cheap sandwich). Located in a somewhat run down strip mall with Archer Arms guns & pawn shop, it’s maybe not the most family friendly location, but once inside you can easily forget all that. The staff is accomidating, the space is cozy(complete with antique lunch pails that line the walls and torn soda shop chairs) and I suppose you could call it a dive… but with a ‘welcome to our kitchen’ atmosphere why would you want to? They do need an exhaust system upgrade though, as it got somewhat hazy as the meal wore on. But food was good and everyone left full and happy. Can’t ask for much more than that.
