I love taco johns but they have NEVER gotten my order right. I went in today and asked for sour cream on my tacos and didn’t get it. No big deal, but when I went and asked for it they refused to give it to me even though I paid for it. There’s been so many times that they have be so rude to us for no reason.

We normally like Taco John’s for a quick dinner. However, this locations quality is terrible. We ordered hard shelled tacos, a bean burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. There was very little meat, cheese or lettuce in our tacos. The bean burrito had very little filling. It was very thin and all tortilla. The chicken quesadilla again had very little chicken. Even my 2 boys who eat anything said it was not good. Very disappointed in this franchise location.

I have frequented this place often over the past 5 years due to its proximity to my house. Obviously this is a cheap fast food place and should be rated in the same breath as Taco Bell, Amigo’s, and Taco Inn. My review is taking this into account.
Sadly over the past year or so the drive though orders have become near impossible to complete. The service is diabolical with witless bumbling teenagers.
The last straw came last night when I was given my Nacho with actual plastic pieces cut into my dish. I nearly chocked on it but was glad my 3 year old son did not have to experience this at the table.
I told the server what happened and he could have cared less. So I let the entire restaurant know they are serving food with plastic in it and refuse to remedy the situation.
This really is the lowest common denominator of food culture. The owners need to step up and hire someone with an IQ hirer than my shoe size before they really hurt someone!

i love this Taco Johns when i drive through Lincoln– tacos and potato olé’s are always hot fresh. the restaurant is clean and its convenient to get to and get out of. they were busy when i was in there as usual. love them!

Always on my list of places to eat when I am back in Lincoln for a bit. I prefer the burritos without onions, they tend to be overpowered by onion otherwise. Cheaper than De Leons, and almost as good. Try the guacamole.
