My wife and I decided to have a quick meal before a basketball game. So we stopped in at this Taco Johns after picking up the tickets. Hmm, where to start. I’ve eaten at several Taco Johns and the food quality for this one was poor. We both had tacos. The taco meat was bland and the taco shells all were cracked and rather stale. I don’t know how long they had the shells, but they tasted like they were very old. The salsa bar was ridiculous as it only contained mild, hot, super hot sauces, and jalapeño’s and a salsa. No pico de gallo at all.
I’ll say that it was clean and although it took awhile to get our order because of a trainee, all restaurants have trainees. Anyway, this one is on my list of «LR» restaurants – last resort. Not because of cleanliness but from food quality.
