Sadly I’ve had so many problems with this library I just avoid it all together now. They have missed scanning and restocked so many of my items it’s almost comical now. I’ve made numerous calls about returned items and depending on who you talk to they’ll tell you they’ll look if they have time. With no word back I end up going in myself finding all the items and taking them to the counter. The last time I mentioned it to the librarian at checkout and she stated it’s quite rare and never happens to which I replied 3 out of 5 items is not rare. I’ve spent too much time clearing the books I’ve returned and sorting out the ridiculous hours I choose to go to placer county libraries. I will say it’s a beautiful building, a great quiet place to study and a wonderful kids story time, but sadly not worth it if I can’t check out materials due to all the errors.

Every time i think i need to go get books for my kids, i cringe knowing i have to go to this library. been there twice so far. and the 2 times been there, the lady in the kid area wasnt helpful at all, she seemed bored and not enjoying her time. She didint care about helping me and her answer to my question was very brief. like if she meant, «figure it out yourself» i’ll go again a 3rd time, if not happy i’ll go to the rocklin library…

Story time was awesome. 30 mins if silly musical fun. It gets pretty crowded. Come early to get your ticket! The kids love it, especially with Mother Goose there. Very nice clean library. Beautiful location for twelve bridges. Lots of computers for the community to use.

I really like this Library. And I go to a lot of Libraries. I am a complete book worm. But yea the building is great, excellent lighting, lots of space. Never seems to be too busy. Large selection of books, also a very large selection of DVD’s as well. Movies and full series of TV-shows. Some great side meeting rooms as well. Beautiful children area. The librarians are very nice and there are a lot of computers available for use. They have not established a way to pay your fines online so that’s a bummer, but they said they are working on it. They do have Library Elf that helps you track your stuff and can send you text and e-mail notifications when items are due. Great little feature. Another negative is their hours are kinda funky. I live in Roseville so it sucks to get out there and find out it is closed. So check those before you head out. Current Hours Monday closed Tuesday 1 — 7 Wednesday 1 — 7 Thursday 10 — 5 Saturday 1 — 5 Sunday closed Otherwise it is just a great library. Beautiful building, very clean, lots of natural light, just a great place to hang out and read.

This is a beautiful addition to the city of Lincoln. It’s been open for several years now and I’ve got to admit that this is one of the best libraries in Placer County. It has this wide open feel to it, everything here is so new. This building is Huge! Lots of books here, it seems that each time I’ve come here, there’s been more added to their books, DVD’s, music CD’s and more. I’ve noticed that they have a wide assortment of teen and children’s books. I’ve noticed that they have a great selection of teen Manga comics. The libraries hours are posted on their website. They are open from Tuesday– Saturday. You will find the friendliest staff here. They have a homework help club for kids after school, which is great for those kiddos who need that extra help after school.

Closed Sundays. ‘Nuff said. The library is not at fault here, though. This is a city management failure… one of many. The building itself is beautiful, contains many useful resources, and has the friendliest staff around.

Extremely Frustrating!!! Never Open — not even the times they post on the website — way to waste tax-payers money — Unbelievable — I have gone there on 3 occasions and it has been closed when it said it was gonna be open — In fact — I say it should be open on weekends and holidays and 3 days a week — late days — like 10PM or so

Nice building, but front door is hard to find and about as far away from parking as possible. Architect must have forgotten how many senior citizens live here. I have been to the library 4 times and have yet to find it open. Strange operating hours!

Beautiful brand new library! Interesting front door location — kind of hidden and about as far as architecturally possible from any parking spots. Lots of quiet study spaces, tables and chairs, computers etc. Not so many books just quite yet, and their online catalogs aren’t online yet either. But this place has tons of potential. They are even open on Saturday which is a novelty for Lincoln.
