I came in today(Saturday, Dec 8, 2012) looking to purchase some new pants for work. As I entered the store I was greeted by Stewart(our salesman). Stu as I now call him asked me if he could help me find something, which I replied dress pants. Stu then asked me a couple simple questions. What size waist and what type of pants are you looking for. For a moment I froze and thought is he trying to trick me with these simple questions? but then I thought I know the answer so I told him 34″ waist an dress pants with pleated front. He then went to the section where the style I identified that I was looking for was located. He pulled out three pairs of pants and they ended up being exactly what I was looking for. While I was trying on the pants and being fitted by the tailor, my wife was picking out some nice ties. As we were checking out, one of the other salesman noticed that one of the ties was a longer size so we were able to pick out another tie and not make it all the way home to be disappointed that we purchased the wrong size tie. The only disappointing thing was that it will take 2 weeks to tailor the pants.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon, and there seemed to be about 3 salesmen working the floor. Not really sure if I caught them at the wrong time(if there even is a wrong time?), but two of salesmen were seemingly arguing on who would(or wouldn’t rather) help me. One wanted to attend to other store business, while the other one wanted to go on a smoke break. Two things became immediately apparent. One, they clearly did not care for one another. Two, neither of them had any desire to help me. Now, I’m a pretty short guy and it turns out none of their shirts would fit me, as the unlucky salesman who lost the argument above told me matter ‘o factly. This was good news as I had already decided by that point not to buy anything. Went to Brooks Brothers instead. P. S. I noticed a few bugs crawling around in the dressing room. Not that this has anything to do with selling suits and dress shirts, but figured this was worth an honorable mention
