I love this place, great for the kids, plenty of seating… but its only August 14th and they only have the tall cups left. I asked what was up and the answer I received was«we aren’t ordering any more cups because we are closing in 6 weeks for the winter». Guess what, people still want froyo in October. Also, those small tall cups don’t hold a lot of yogurt or allow one to spread out the different flavors. I would rhink if you brought in wider cups your daily sales would be higher… also, refill the toppings on a friday night. Buy the cups, you can use them again when you reopen in the spring… unless your customer base ends up at Menchie’s or Yogurtland and forgets about you over the fall and winter.

One of the worst cup cakes u have ever had in my life !!! The butter cream frosting was falling off of the cup cake, the mango in the top was dry and tasted like piece of cardboard and the cupcake was dryer than sand !!! The frozen yogurt was ok.

I’ve only tried the frozen yogurt here once and it was great, but what I really come here for is the cupcakes! Great variety of flavors, just the right amount of sweetness, moist cake and buttery frosting, so yummy! I’ve also done a custom cupcake order for my baby shower as well as a smash cake for my sons first birthday a year later and everything was so delicious. The owner is so great to deal with, prices are reasonable and the cake and cupcakes she did for me were gorgeous. Highly recommend this place for a sweet snack or any custom cupcakes you might need!

Swirlcup has a ton of cupcake options and some that are unique compared to other places I’ve been. All of their cupcakes have a ton of frosting on them — yum! They have some nice young ladies working the register. Nice as they may be, they aren’t completely on top of their game but all’s well that ends well. I went in to pick up some cupcakes for a BYOF brewery trip. When I was at the register, they had a tray full of tempting cookies I couldn’t resist. I forked over the additional $ 1.75 for the oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookie. You read that right! A soft & chewy chocolate chip cookie with an oreo cookie on the inside. Such a smart idea and not going to lie, I’m going to attempt to make these next time I make cookies. On to the cupcakes! Half a dozen will run you $ 16.50. Mint chocolate chip — Cake was not overly dry, though I would have preferred it to be a bit more moist. However when I took it out of the wrapper the bottom half came right off in the cup. Wah wah. Mint chocolate chip frosting was such a cool twist I haven’t seen done quite like this before. Pair both pieces together and it was money… Delicious! Chocolate cake with vanilla frosting — Yum! Same on the cake as above, and this frosting was a bit more dense & sugary the way I like it. Again, the combination of the cake with frosting flavors married quite well in the cupcake. I also tried the salty caramel, yellow cake with chocolate frosting and red velvet. Verdict is — the cupcakes are A-OK. I like them just fine. However, I’ve had better and wouldn’t go out of my way to return. That magical cookie though, now that was amazeballs.

I’ve been to this place quite a few times since it opened and I have to say that it’s pretty good. Am I dying to go back and craving it every single summer day, nope but if I’m in the area than why not. This is your typical frozen yogurt place but it’s pretty big in size so I don’t ever really remember dealing with a large line, it’s conveniently located in Lincolnshire square so it’s a perfect go to place after a red robin meal or after a movie right across the street. They do offer samples if you don’t know what you want and they have non fat no sugar options which I’m sorry, the most I can settle for is «low fat» since I love my ice cream to be fatty so frozen yogurt isn’t my number one choice but all my health conscious friends always want to come here. So the flavor I love most here is chocolate and I fill it up and then I head to the mix in bar and here I usually get some yummy gummy bears or just strawberries depending on how dangerous I feel that day and if I’m really feeling on the edge, I will add some chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top. Then they weigh it for you and you pay for how much you get which I like since I hate being restricted to the usual small medium and large. But be careful it can very quickly add up to a $ 6 or $ 7 cup depending on how much mixins you add in, Overall, the place is nice, they also have cookies, cupcakes and cake pops, but honestly everyone comes here for the frozen yogurt. They have seating on the first and even a little on the second floor. They also have outdoor seating for those warm summer nights. So usually the simple chocolate has been my favorite but last week it just wasn’t as good. I also wish they had free water since who wants to pay for bottled especially if you just want a little sip after your sweet ice cream. Will be back if I’m in the area but it’s definitely not my number one.

I’ve been here twice now. The first time, in April 2013, I stopped in for frozen yogurt after a dinner at the now defunct Champp’s. The froyo was excellent, and I appreciated the wide variety of flavors(and sampling cups). The yogurt was creamy and rich, and the topping options were extensive. We stopped here in March 2014 for cupcakes. My sole gripe about the cupcakes is that they have three or four flavors just marked«Special Flavor» without indicators of what those flavors might me. The employee was helpful, but even she had to go back into the kitchen/prep area to consult a list. I really enjoyed my chocolate cupcake with vanilla butter cream. My husband had a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting. His cupcake was less sweet — almost muffing like — but balanced well with the frosting. There’s no evidence of a bathroom in the store, which is a bit odd. Maybe it’s on the second floor and we missed it? At any rate, we’d come back if we were in the area again.

I like my martini’s shaken not stirred and I like my frozen yogurt straight up rather than swirled. You can have it either way you like it here. The swirled option is like a blizzard. But I prefer to just dump yogurt in the cup and go… and sometimes I’ll even eat it naked and skip the topping bar. All the flavors were great with the exception if the sugar free dairy free tart sorbet flavor, too tart and not smooth enough of a finish for my craving. This time I was feeling the sweet southern Georgia peach yogurt vibe. It was super creamy, lightly sweet and oh so very peachy. There were lots of the«homemade» toppings from cake and brownies to the Rice Krispie puppy chow and toffee crunch. The atmosphere is a little more trendy and modern than the typical self-serve froyo shop. They serve up a variety of fresh cupcakes too!
