We arrived at 7:58 pm on a Saturday night and was met by a grumpy employee that was not happy to see us since the restaurant decided to close at 8pm since it was slow. Regardless we sat at the bar and had their IPA(English Ale with out of control HOPS) not very good IMO. Wife had the Red Ale and she enjoyed it. We ordered mild wings and what we got were fried frozen supermarket wings. Extra greasy with little flavor. We had to return them. The bartender on the other hand was very nice and attentive. Would probably never return.

Highly recommended. Great food and the beer was wonderful. Good quick stop in with two young children. 5 stars if kid’s juices weren’t $ 3.25EACH! Rest of the meal was very reasonably priced.

We’ve eaten at the Lobster Pound before and since my husband loves craft beer decided to check out this new addition. The interior is nice with great views of the ocean. Our server(Monique, I think?) was awesome. I had been craving a nice bowl of clam chowder so had to order one. Out of the nine days I was on vacation that bowl of chowder was by far the worst thing I ate. It didn’t taste like clam chowder although it had a generous amount of clams and potatoes. The creamy liquid was a bit brown and it almost tasted like it had a beef base to it. It was a huge disappointment. My husband ordered the fish chowder and it was a traditional chowder. He was pleased with it. For my meal I had the fried clams and fries. They were absolutely delicious. Once a year I splurge and have fried clams and these didn’t disappoint. My husband had the lobster roll and he was happy with it. Both the fried clams and the lobster roll were Lobster Pound menu items that could be ordered at the Brew Pub. The chowders were Brew Pub items. I’m not sure what that says about the food in the Brew Pub. Whatever you do, don’t order the clam chowder.

I wasn’t impressed with this place. The beer was decent, but I wasn’t a fan of the bartender drinking behind the bar. I hate that. My burger was greasy and undercooked. I might swing in here for a drink at happy hour, but not for dinner or late night.

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this pub. It’s nearby and has great beer, but unfortunately I couldn’t. It took an hour and half to get our food and the orders were wrong. My wife got the drunken pork, it was overcooked and they never brought her the steamed broccoli that goes with the dish. My English style fish and chips didn’t come with the vinegar malt roulade or even tartar sauce. I had to ask the waitress for it and she didn’t know what I was talking about …however it’s listed on the menu that it goes with the dish. Eventually she brought out the roulade, after I was almost finished with my meal. The other couple we went with got the wrong chowder. We constantly had to ask for drinks, which took 15 minutes to get each time. Then we had a beer spilled on us, which was an accident. However if you dump a full beer on a guest typically the manager comes over and apologizes or at least they gives you a free beer. Not this place … Extremely disapointing service and mediocre food

Stopped for a quick mid-afternoon beer and appetizers. Bartender was great, helpful, and attentive. I had the golden wheat and my husband had the IPA and the English Red. The beer was ok– we agree that it has a ways to go, it can get better. We had the wings and a slice of pizza for«snacks»… Eh. Nothing special. Not terrible, but not something I would rave over. Worth a stop to have a harbor view at happy hour.

Caught this new addition to the cozy town of Lincolnville on their opening night. Wonderful small town pub atmosphere with a generous bar area. Staff were outgoing and attentive but didn’t hover. Beer on tap was from Andrews Brewing up the road. The Golden Ale was crisp and refreshing. Our party had a mix of from the sea to traditional pub fare. My burger was cooked to exactly what I asked for and the buns were perfect and not too bready.
