Heard great things about this place, so the wife and I checked it out for lunch. I’m pretty sure you cannot find fresher food in the area, tastes like it was picked from the garden yesterday. The owners seem to be genuine people which is something I’d like to support as opposed to a cookie cutter establishment with an out of state CEO. We look forward to eating here again.

Great fresh food that makes your tummy happy with every bite. Even thought the menu selection it small, don’t be fooled. Chef Jim has mastered each of his dishes to perfection. Very excited today because he has a special on the menu. Thanksgiving Sandwich. It’s like the holidays in your mouth.

I just had my mind blown at Bridge117 Café today. Jim, his lovely wife Alyshia and their very cool sous chef son, Chris, have brought big city eats to a very small, historic town. You’d expect this place every block or so in a big city, but in a village of 4,000 people outside of the well-traveled highways between infamous Flint and Detroit? Really? YEP! Killer pulled pork and Bahn Mi sandwiches on beautiful rolls(the only two I could get my teeth into between my mom and I sharing), a potato salad side dish that your grandma wishes she came up with and a super cool, clean, crisp interior of finely crafted wood floors and benches, also built by chef Jim. Hey, you’re good with your hands? Make good furniture and even better food! God bless ya, Jim! After living in a Foodie’s paradise(Atlanta) for 7 years, I gotta tell ya, this place is amazing. And it really appears to be fitting in to the changing landscape. An old country, four corner town is making a transition into a rebounding Michigan suburb that’s even inclusive of a new Arts Council responsible for a recent and highly vibrant mural. Go downtown Linden, folks. Americana doesn’t get much more Americana. And make sure you grab a bite at this joint. Bridge117 Café is effortlessly making it sound more like«AMMMMMmericanAHHHH!’ :)

While the food is really good, I found it to be skimpy on the servings. I had about a tablespoon of potato salad served with my sandwich and wished for a bigger serving.

Nice little hometown café. A great spot to hang out and enjoy the afternoon. The food was excellent and extremely fresh. The owner is super friendly. The café had a cool organic look. They offered many local products and we’ll as using local produce for all of their menu items. We will definitely we back.

What a breath of fresh air onto the Linden\Fenton food scene. The Bridge offers a new riff on sandwiches. For example I ordered a Bahnmi made of grilled pork, cucumber, cilantro, with pickled daikon, carrot and onion, siracha mayo and jalapeño. It was a parade of flavors! I also had their home made clam chowder Best one i have ever had). It is definately my new favorite restaurant!
