Had the best experience buying new eye glasses. The staff at Innovation Optics were friendly, helpful and fitted me with a perfect pair of glasses. By far the best in the field.

My mother and I have been loyal customers for nearly three decades. The owner Ian is a delightful, caring, and thoughtful professional; who is willing to work with you no matter what your budget. His laid back approach should not be misconstrued as indifference. He allows customers to linger and try on glasses without heavy sales pressure. His supportive staff reflects our local culture in several languages (Polish, English, Spanish, etc.) and his amazing sense of humor always is a source of joy, even on a rainy day. Far beyond standard perscription lenses, he has helped me revamp thrift store vintage lenses, and regularly exhibits enormous patience and gentleness, even around the elderly. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer for several years, until i had a problem with my glasses within a few months. I was met with nothing but rudeness on phone. They are way overpriced considering my frames were cracked within 6 months, and not replacable according to the rude receptionist. They only care about the $$$ you are about to spend… not the customer service that $$$$ spenders would expect afterwards. poor management for sure! Found me a more courteous place with much better prices for the exact same products! Shop around people… many businesses out there doing the right thing for their customers these days. Innovative Optics needs a WAKE UP call!

I echo the only other review… do not go here. innovation has many other good, friendly locations like Roselle. And Roselle has a lot. The real reason not to go here is Ian the optician. I had seen him treat others badly, then he did it to me for no reason. THere’s no excuse for that nonsense. In this market, in this area, with all the choices out there… don’t go to this outfit.

Overpriced glasses and horrible customer service. Place was recommended by my husband and mother-​in-​law because of previous great service — that’s in the past. My glasses have problems after only a year and the owner/​doctor/​clinician was rude and obnoxious when I asked questions. He went so far as to insinuate that I caused the problems. They have lost my mother in law as a client as well and she has spent thousands there. STAY AWAY!
