Michelino’s Pizzeria

Zero stars: Omg, waited 90 minutes for delivery. Food was cold, soggy, flat out gross. Order placed online, called right after to confirm, then a couple times to make sure they didn’t forget @ 45 min, 1.25 hours and again right before delivery guy arrived an hour and a half after placing order. When calling, we expected a different response than it is what it is.
Ordered soup of the day, calamari, half cheesesteak and a personal deep dish white pie (with additional toppings). Everything was cold and not edible even after reheating. Pizza dough tasted stale, old (as if baked, frozen, thawed then reheated). Calamari was rubbery, gross, no flavor and greasy. I was able to salvage the fries underneath in same container, reheated and it wasn’t as gross. Cheesesteak was edible after reheating but definitely wouldn’t recommend it. At least we got extra crackers to help with appetites. Even with first time customer $ 5 coupon, it was $ 28 badly spent.

i like the michelino pizza restaurant, in the residential suburban linden nj area.
i love it so much i try NOT to go down that area in sunnyside (linden) st.geo.ave.
premise on i will stop in and eat 5x day ! i try to limit it to 1x or 2 x a week for dinner
or lunch. they are always good all dishes, and hot.
the Tilapia fresh healthy for you, so i eat that also from fish market Lindy’s near north wood ave, nice section there, or when i can’t get it at Lindy’s i order from the michelino
the tilapia, few other dishes.
Nothing is wrong with the Strip Mall it is in, lingerie type store there, H&R Block, safe
and PATHMARK right over there, secured area, and i love Michelino’s.
Rival to VENICE PIZZA, ANACAPRI, i hear, i used to think they all own same lol
either way? I love their pizza also better than VENICE who recent last week a friend
we had poker game, and was playing online casino at tropicana games, and yet i was
not enjoy VENICE, the place had“barely any cheese on it?” and bottom burnt.
I hear that NJ Linden N. Wood Ave. VENICE SERVE GOOD FOOD, However didn’t like it
Venice spaghetti good, but i LOVE michelino’s everything!
so i will (when i am paying will order michelino over VENICE anytime.)The pizza real cheesy, EVEN WITHOUT PAYING FOR EXTRA CHEESE, and i love that.

Food is okay, I like the pizza but the service is horrible. The girl who picks up the phone and takes the order gets it wrong, like she cant even make a sandwich. Wings are overpriced and small. A simple salad can take 20 – 30 minutes to be ready.

Work orders here all the time for meetings. I love there pizza and there dinners. Only complaint was once they ran out of diet soda. I got people hooked on there onion rings, there good. I’ve never been to the place but I like there take out. If your in the area i think you should Definitely give it a try.

Michelino’s has two other locations: Elizabeth and Rahway. This one is probably not in the nicest strip mall but worth a stop. They have the best pizza and Italian food in the general area. The slices are large and I loved the meatball topped pizza. My favorite dish is the Chicken Parm. A tender large cut of chicken, nice rich sauce and cooked to perfection pasta. The food rivaled some of the better Italian restaurants I have been to. I noted they use Barilla pasta for their dishes not some cheap generic wholesale brand. The place is clean and the prices reasonable. I wouldn’t travel miles to come eat here but if you are in area and looking for decent pizza/​Italian dishes I would not hesitate in stopping, getting take out or have them deliver.
