I buy from these guys nearly every week at our local farmer’s market. The sales guy is a SWEETHEART and always remembers me, they always have amazing treats & all their stuff is delicious!!! I’ve gotten cherries, dried fruit, nuts(ESPECIALLY the orange-honey almonds) their new crop of Honeycrisp apples & juice. I LOVE them! :)

Smit Orchards comes thru with a solution for those dying of thirst while shopping at the farmers market and not wanting to drink sodas nor caffeine. they have premade apple cider(pt/2.50) from orgainic apples. the cider is a bit tarty but nonetheless very refreshing … Smits Orchard is ominipresent at most farmers markets. Smit specializes in all kinds of apples. if smit isn’t around, look for orchard’s. they have nice cider also.

There are a handful of stands at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market that I MUST stop off at to look at their produce or get samples of – no matter how full I am! Smit Orchards is located in Linden, California, near Stockton. However, every week, patrons of the Farmers Market are privy to their most delicious and beautiful apples. With an array of varieties, you are sure to fall in love with at least one. I am quite partial to their Fuji or Pink Lady. Deliciously crisp, sweet, with that light tartness that all great apples should have. I also LOVE their 100% natural, fresh pressed Apple Cider. I guarantee you that you will have tasted nothing like it before. They keep it chilled on crushed ice so that the moment you crack the bottle open, you can taste the cold and delicious flavors of the cider. It truly is an apple in a bottle. Next time you’re at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, make sure you stop by their stand. I guarantee, you won’t regret it!
