Starbucks

Waited in line and they made drinks for 2 people behind me and then when I asked about my drink I was told they need to go in order? Last to 1^st?
I won’t return to this location

I don’t come here as much as I use to due to the rude staff. They get your order wrong like its as simple as extra whip please but end up with no whip cream at all. Once you tell them they get an attitude and don’t even acknowledge its their fault, after all it’s written right there on the cup with a marker ‚“tall whip”.

I come here to study before my tests. I see many other people studying here as well. I appreciate being able to go to a place not too far from my house where I can have a snack and coffee while I study or whatever.
This is also the place where I’ve had a few first dates.

This location is great for groups because there is plenty of seating. The noise level is low most of the time, so it’s also a great location to catch up on work or studying. Most of the staff is friendly. They make the drinks just right, and never run out of inventory. Great Starbucks in the area.

Comparing to other coffee places around, this is my probably the best. Staff there are super wonderful and the place always filled with people. It’s a good overall atmosphere to spend couples of hours.

This Starbucks is conveniently close to home, and has a sunny storefront, but I have major qualms that are starting to really sour me.
The layout does not use the space well, and regularly results in a shortage of seating. The shop is a triangle floor plan. Four 2-​man tables line one wall, four arm chairs fill in a corner, a 6 seat communal table fills the third wall, the ordering counter is on the last wall. Another high top communal table with eight or so seats runs down the center of the shop.
Customer service is entirely hit or miss, and is the main reason for the low-​star review. Sure, some baristas are friendly. Most are either in full grouch mode, or are smiling through clenched teeth. When the supply of stirrers, straws, napkins and milk sometimes run dry, it’s normal for a customer to ask a barista for a restock or for one to suit his own needs. What’s not normal, or polite, or right, or good business, is for a barista to explain to a customer that they’re making many drinks at once and can’t stop to help them. Keep your supplies stocked, and you won’t be interrupted. Problem solved. Yes I just watched that happen — not for the first time.
Also, they are super stingy with prices of add-​ons here. A hot tea with steamed milk will be up charged as a latte, even if you exclude the myriad syrups, whipped creams and toppings. Many other shops will steam milk as a friendly courtesy. Not here.
Hmph.

Solid and consistent though not always the cleanest. It always seems to need a sweep and the milk/​sugar station always needs tidying. But the service is always good. No attitudes. Lots of smiles. Nothing special here. No better or worse than any Starbucks.

Standard good old starbucks services is expected here. The space is remodeled in modern décor.

This was such a kind and cute Starbucks, I just had to add to the reviews!
Granted, this is out in the boonies for me, but this shop is here to refresh me when I have to come to the deserted mall in the wee hours of the morning. The baristas were very caring (even with my short attention span and «ummm“s), and kept conversation rolling while taking the line down.
The store itself is something I HAD to comment on, which I absolutely cannot in the Starbucks locations in NYC. This store was clean and inviting, albeit a little small. Not sure if this is because hordes of shoppers haven’t attacked it yet.
Don’t think I’ll ever be in the area again, but if I am, would definitely stop by!

I absolutely love the staff here, I’ve been going to this Starbucks for the past 8 – 10 years and it’s a family atmosphere, everyone makes me feel important and I’m pretty sure everyone there has my drink memorized. Even after I had to stop drinking espresso/​caffeine due to my health the staff quickly learned my new complex drink order. Great customer service, this place has many regulars and they remember all of their drinks too. So what are you waiting for?! Go a couple more times so they’ll remember yours too ;)
Also has great seating, recently remodeled and has a cool zen look to it, or whatever you would call that. I recommend Sitting outside to watch the airplanes take off out of linden airport.

I go to this location a lot and just had one bad experience. All the other time staff is very friendly and they make my cinnamon dolce latte AWESOME!!!

I been going to this Starbucks since I moved to linden which has been 6 years now. I think it’s the best Starbucks around! I’ve tried going to others in Westfield, rt 22, Woodbridge mall … Nothing compares to this one in linden. The staff is so friendly, never a long wait and the drinks come out perfect every time ! I never had to return a drink after 6 yrs of going. They have live music I believe on Mondays the whole atmosphere is just a very great experience ! The workers work so hard and you can see that unlike most of the Starbucks I’ve been to the employees make it miserable even stepping foot in the door. I recommend this Starbucks ! You won’t be disappointed

The worse Starbucks I have ever been in my life. To make matters worse the Supervisor was the most disrespectful person I have ever seen.
I ordered 3 lattes; she placed one on the counter and then 2 others, which she announced what they were before placing them on the counter. Not knowing if the third one the counter belong to me, I asked what was the coffee on the counter and she replied «I don’t know». I mean, really!!! She just made the silly coffee and she didn’t even know what it was. Nasty attitude so I reciprocated the attitude back to her.
Great leadership at this location. I will never return. Happy thanksgiving!!!

I come in every morning on my way to work ~ the staff is friendly, attentive and if your a regular they remember your order so you don’t have to think so early in the morning.
Kudos to my girls for kicking ass & keeping your lines as short as possible but the morning conversations are always worth the wait in line.

Ohhhhhh to be in New Jersey where is appears so many people hate their jobs. They didn’t disappoint me here.

Was there 9 – 11 pm.

Just average starbucks that is highly trafficked. Its all there is around here.

This is on the best side of Aviation plaza… less hectic.
I dunno if it’s because Linden is fairly quiet compared to let’s say… NYC…but I’ve never had a problem with an order.
Usually, when I am at a Starbucks… someone takes my stuff or it takes years to get out of there.
You can really see the teamwork here and it makes the experience all the more worthwhile.
You’re in and you’re out.
Unless you’re staying… but even then, there’s outdoor seating.

Tucked away in the Aviation Plaza shopping center, near an AT&T store and Gamestop is a nice respite from the madness of shopping, a Starbucks. Here, outdoor seating, spacious indoors and a clean store await.
I’m not a regular at this Starbucks so I cannot vouch for its consistency in terms of service, but in the few times I’ve visited over the years I’ve always had a good experience. Orders are taken promptly by a friendly staff and the drinks always taste good. I’ve sat in a couple of times and it was always pleasant and comfortable.
I remember when the building this Starbucks is in didn’t even exist yet, so I was happy to see one crop up in the area. I know when I need a coffee fix in the area, I just head on over to this store!

I wish I could give them 3.5 or maybe even 3.75 starts. My experiences here have been hit or miss for the last few years they have been in existence. My parents have a house nearby and I usually stay here as it’s a nice central location when I visit NJ so I come here for my daily fix.
Sometimes the staff is super friendly, attentive and they make a great latte. However, there have been times when I’ve come in and the staff is too busy joking around with each other or their friends who are hanging out at the store to take my order or they are curt and to the point.
Also, I’ve had some terrible lattes here and I don’t know why — bad beans? machine not clean? poor effort on the baristas part? At other times though, they’ve been good — not great, but good. But the place is usually pretty clean and the bathrooms are always well stocked and pretty tidy so I’m going to round up and give them 4 stars. I just wish they were more consistent… I hate gambling when I’m craving my latte!!!
