IHOP

Went to IHOP with my granddaughter, I had the tropical pancakes macadamia banana pancakes they were amazing!!! My granddaughter had the red, white & blue pancakes with blueberries & strawberries which she enjoyed.

Worst ever. Do not go to this ihop, save yourself the aggravation. My food was NEVER put in while everyone else was already halfway done with theirs, server was incompetent, where is the manager. Place is a joke. Never got my food even after I said something to the server all he did was apologize. Apologies do not satisfy my hunger. Sorry not sorry.

Nobody felt like cooking breakfast this morning so we went to IHOP. First of all it was cold in there they had the AC on and everyone had their coats on we told the waitress who was very nice to tell the manager to turn the heat up what she did but it took a little time. She said the reason for the delay of turning the heat up and getting a breakfast was that one of the cooks never showed up and the manager was doing the cooking or cause the temporary cook as not experienced I ordered the breakfast sample and Sharon ordered the pancakes with strawberry and bananas and I have to give the manager credit the food turned out to be good

I can honestly say the IHop food is as advertised, tasty, fresh and good portion size. The waitresses seem to be hit or miss, some are very professional, providing quality service and yet others are just lacking. While I was there on Sunday 01/​10/​2016 with a friend we had an excellent experience.
We went back Tuesday 01/​12/​2016 again for breakfast. We had a similar experience with one big different. We were seated on the opposite side of the room. It was uncomfortable cold. We ate and ran due to the cold. This morning Weds 01/​13/​2016 we tried to return for the third time. The waitress led us to the same location as the day before, I explained the problem with the uncomfortably cold experience we had. I was immediately reassure the heat was on by both the waitress and the manager. Before leaving my guest and I put our coats back on to complete our meal. I honestly think the A/​C was on. I feel as if we were not welcome there. I will never return to the IHop brand again. Another person who appeared to be a regular made a comment before she left about the frigid temperature stating (Quote) its freezing in here, my fingertips are actually numb. (End of quote)
Is the new normal? The food is ever delicious, but the service has inconsistencies. Sorry but you lost me as a customer.

Brunch with my baby boy! Always a favorite! Garden Omlette was huge only ate half was tasty. He had a Rooty Jr. Yummy!

We had the new french toast it was cold the worst french toast ever we also had coffee she gave us a carafe with 3 cups of coffee in it real cheepos it took forever to get more done going there anymore.

Unlike other IHOPs along the Sunrise Highway, there was ample parking on a Sunday afternoon so automatically the score is bumped up to A-​OK.
While there was some initial confusion over the availability of a table for two, the wait wasn’t too unbearable as there was plenty of seating. Many suburbanites bring their brood here so tables for four or more are the norm.
Our waitress seemed tired and I had to emphasize with her for having to deal with tables of customers who nitpick over every single detail of the menu and then appear confused by the order as it arrives. If you place that much scrutiny on a meal at a chain restaurant that clocks in at less than $ 10 a plate perhaps dining out is not for you.
So while she brought us an ice-​less glass of literal tap water, I look beyond that because of the excessive demands she was facing from an unruly bunch that will never be truly satisfied unless the meal is free.
So you go to an IHOP and order pancakes as this is after all the International House of Pancakes. How international the menu is I leave as an exercise to the eater but ordering a stack with a side of eggs, bacon and hash browns is almost always a safe bet.
There’s an array of flavored syrups to apply to the stack and the non-​conformists can try non-​pancake dishes. I suppose like any other business, there is the constant pressure to diversify and expand the menu so the final P of IHOP really translates to plethora of griddle pan items and not just pancakes.
Light and fluffy, the stack was downed in minutes as I then eyed the sibling plate of scrambled eggs. A bit rubbery, I endured and found the carb of hash browns the most satisfying item on the plate. Again, order the pancakes and consider everything else secondary.
As is the case in most mainstream eateries, the bathroom was spacious, clean and far removed from the homeless pit stop NYC bathrooms have become.
For a stop along the way to one of the south shore beaches, this IHOP delivers a plate of pancake pleasure.

I’ve been here several times and whoever installed the booth tables connected them to the walls about 2 to 3 inches higher than your average booth table. I’m not tall by any means, but the tables don’t seem to be at chest level at any other dining establishments that I frequent.
The service is ok. The staff is friendly and efficient, but not really that personable. Never had any issues with the food. It’s your average IHOP fare. I would have given 3 stars if not for the table issues. It’s very odd to say the least.

They are so good. Love the pancakes. They do a great job. Great syrups. Good breakfast. I sometimes get the funny face pancake. Good ihop hay!!!

Of course this is a typical franchise place, so the food is what you’d expect at any typical IHOP — though I have to give them points for consistency. I know what I want and I know it’s gonna be exactly the same every time.
Mainly I’m reviewing this place because of the staff. I come here maybe 2 or 3 times a month, and every waiter/​waitress I’ve ever had has been wonderful. They’ve all been nothing but nice and accommodating, which I really appreciate at a place like this.

Ihop is Ihop. Your basic franchise breakfast place. I usually always order the banana foster brioche French toast, which is amazing. Today they have all you can eat pancakes which my son got and I got my usual lol no big review.

Waitress r not friendly they rush u don’t get a smile or greeted properly. They bought my food fries was cold n they put cheese on my eggs I did not ask for… I was very disappointed I walked out without having my breakfast

Ihop the International House of Pancakes is a very welcoming according to its name, but that wasn’t the case when I had visited not to long ago. I had a bad experience I found hair in my eggs. Which wasnt that devastating but threw me off a bit. . i wasnt expecting that. The hair in the food was not the worst part either. I brought it to the attention to one of the managers and she treated me as if I was speaking a different language. I did not like how this manager handle this situation. She was basically was rude to me and had a bit of a attitude because I had found some hair in my food. I was completely nice to her the whole time showing no type of resentment. I wouldn’t go here again even if you paid me. So if you go here please look through your food for hair. And if you do expect that female manager to give an attitude.

I went here today for breakfast with a client. I am only writing a review because they were so helpful. I had the free pancake coupon on my phone but they only accept it if it’s printed out. The manager explained the reason why but offered to give me 20% off the bill and still hold on to my coupon. I thought that was nice of them. Overall ihop is always a good place for bfast!

My sever brought my food with no silver wear and she gave me scramble eggs instead of sunny side up

There is a bit of a wait on Sunday morning. Staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good.

We were in the area so we stopped in for breakfast yesterday.
The service was great! We were seated promptly and served within a reasonable amount of time.
Do I need comment on the food? It’s IHOP! =)

It was IHOP, service was good, it was hot fast, and good as I would expect in an IHOP. They were super busy as most are on Sunday morning. I was happy with my IHOP experiencE !
