Sakan Bento Japanese Express

Came here for lunch and it was great! The restaurant is very large and clean, and everything (chopsticks, spicy mayo, sriracha, little sauce containers) are all out for you to use which is nice.
We ordered the beef negemaki bento, the pork ramen, and a cooked salmon onigiri. We ate in and the cook gave us a free salad and soup since it was our first time visiting. The food was great and is at an amazing price. Will be back again!

Another Grand Slam for Sakan! This trip I opted for a little bit of everything so I got a Bento Box. Great choice on my part.
It comes with a California Roll of which I am not a fan. So I substituted a Tuna Avocado Roll. So I have Miso soup, Salad, Seaweed Salad with Egg Custard & some other pickled Veggie that I liked.
Everything was fresh & delicious!
BOOM! 5 stars again!

Another great establishment in Lindenhurst. Went here today for the first time and it was a great experience overall. Ordered the shrimp teriyaki box and it was excellent (and at a low price), staff was very friendly as well. Definitely coming back here again.

Who knew sushi in a strip mall could be so good. I got a call from my food bo Christina J. She suggested this place because here father recommended it. I was unsure because I only get sushi from higher end restaurants because it is generally fresh. We walked in and my senses exploded. The interior is bright and cheery. There is absolutely no smell of seafood and the restaurant is very clean. The rolls are out of control good and cheap. I had the wellwood roll and it was supposed to be spicy. Guess what it actually was very spicy it was really excellent. The other roll that had eel and avocado was also very good. They have a soda fountain as well as canned and bottled soft drinks. The fact that there product is so good yet so cheap is amazing. Meanwhile they make it so easy to order. You can order right off of Unilocal.
I Strongly recommend all Unilocalers to download the Unilocal app called Eat 24 it makes it so easy to order from this place and other restaurants.
All said and done this is excellent sushi in an excellent environment. This is my new go to sushi haven.

I challenge you to find a casual Japanese eatery that serves Japanese classics like Ramen, Katsu and sushi alongside American palate favorites like teriyaki and tempura for rock-​bottom prices with huge portions and no lack of quality.
Really impressed with this place.

Wow! The size of the bento box and everything that is included is amazing. I also ordered the onigiri which was great. I can’t wait to try this place again!

Love this place… Finally a place with amazing tofu!.. For $ 6.55!.. Tofu teriyaki with veggies, rice or noodles and miso soup (no fish). And salad! A vegetarians dream come true! :)

This place is seriously so awesome! I’ve come here a handful of times within seven days because of its cleanliness, good food, and customer service. I’m sad to have my last meal today because I’m flying back home. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this place! $ 8.50 + tax (under $ 10 bento) for a shit ton of food, and they always pack the necessities in the bag wo me requesting — soy sauce, chopsticks, napkins, etc.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and I was very very pleased with my order everything was very yummy and very well priced. I would highly recommend

Ordered takeout. We got chicken teriyaki, beef negimaki and spicy rock shrimp appetizer.
Chicken teriyaki was pretty good although I felt the chicken was cut up into weird long stringy pieces and the sauce was light, not greasy or too salty. Fresh veggies, white rice. Came with miso soup & a salad.
Beef negimaki was an appetizer, thin slices of beef rolled up with grilled scallions with a teriyaki type glaze. Pretty tasty.
The rock shrimp appetizer was fresh and dipped in a light tempura batter and fried perfectly. The spicy mayo sauce, wasn’t spicy at all… and there was so much sauce on it, that it made the whole thing soggy. I would suggest putting the sauce on the side.
Overall it was decent. The prices are good. The service was friendly and fast. I would definitely go back in a month or two and try some more things. They did just open so, gotta work out those kinks.

If your in the area you should stop in and try it or even order delivery ! They where very good and inexpensive
