It’s a burger no big deal. There chicken sandwich is OK .
French fries .blah
They will really need to step up there game to survive.
Honestly just another gimmick burger joint.

New restaurant, not good looking, used same old floor that was under the carpet at Hollywood Video that was there before. Food was good but not filling, staff was great, If they make the burgers or chicken sandwiches bigger I would give 4 stars.

Love alll the chicken sandwiches my favorite is the buffalo. Everything is so fresh does not taste fast foody at all. Def try the smash fries too. My go to spot

Traveled all the way from Calverton to eat these burgers. Worth the trip, great burgers and even greater fries.
Hagen Daz milkshake was the right consistency, with correct ratio of milk to ice cream, just great.
Clean bathrooms because we both know that’s very important, Ok.
Had the «New York» and my plus 1 had the «classic» and we also ordered their «smashfries». It was SO delicious we used about 20 napkins!

Omg soooo tasty. Way better than Five Guys and so much better value for money. Salads are super tasty too. Shame I’m only visiting the area as this would be my go to burger joint

I went around 4 pm and ordered 4 different burgers and fries. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was good but I was surprised by the mustard (lots of it with ketchup on my burger. EWWWWW I HATE MUSTARD, which I found out is their Smashburger Sauce. No sauce on mine please because it has mustard. Had I known I would have told them to please leave it off). I spent 5 minutes wiping off the mustard. We are NEW YORKERS, not Californians or Pennsylvanians, SMASH BURGER, we do not eat mustard on our burgers. The sweet potato fries were very good. My daughter ordered the BBQ CHEDDAR BURGER WITH ONIONS and that was very good but too salty. Cut down on the salt please. My other two daughters ordered the black bean burger which was not good with avocado and her sister ordered a grilled chicken burger which was disappointing. The Rosemary garlic fries were pretty good. All in all my check was $ 43 and everything could have been better. The mustard ruined it greatly for me.
Décor was nice and restaurant was really clean. I’ll go back but make sure I tell them NO MUSTARD or Smashburger Sauce. I’ll also tell them no salt on my burgers.

I had the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger. It was very good, lots of truffle flavor in the mayo. I thought the burger was a decent size, seasoned well and juicy. We shared Rosemary Fries, onion Stack and fried pickles. The fries were a little greasy (didn’t need olive oil on them), but they were tasty. I prefer thicker cut onion rings, but they were seasoned well and crispy. The horseradish dipping sauce was delicious. Fried pickles aren’t for everyone, but I enjoyed them. It’s casual place for a good burger and reasonably priced.

Tried this for the first time tonight. Classic GF Smashchicken. There were more onions on the burger than chicken. It was the thinnest slice of grilled chicken. Literally 3 times thinner than just one half of the bun, which was stale and falling apart as well. My crumbly, stale bun with onions as the main filling and not enough chicken to fill even a bird left me never willing to come back again.
Completely dissapointing. This was all I managed to have to eat today and it sucked to the maximum.

Came here for the first time today with my husband. We ordered the avocado club, BBQ bacon and cheddar with a shared order of smash fries and a chocolate shake. The best parts of this meal were the buns and the shake. I found my burger a little too greasy, but my husband didn’t feel his was. He felt it was overall too salty. We weren’t super thrilled with the fries, looking back we should have probably just got the regular ones. The buns were really good though, both extra fresh and tasty. I think if we ever go back, it will only be for a shake cause it was amazing!

I placed an order online and went to pick it up. They hadn’t even started it by the time I got there. They should allow you to place an order online closer to the pickup time.
The expediter was SCREAMING at the workers in the kitchen. It was like watching Gordon Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen.
The food was ok. I’d rather to go Five Guys to be honest.

Good place to grab a bite to eat. I had the spicy jalapeño Baja burger with smash fries. The wife had bbq bacon and cheese burger. It is similar to the burgers at Applebee’s. $ 7.89 for the burger, $ 2.29 for the fries and $ 2 for a fountain drink. The burger and fries were good. The fries were good but the shoestring kind.
The tables are cleaned by the wait staff who bring you your good. They either need to hire more people or do a better job at budding the tables.

Tried out smashburger in Lindenhurst today for the first time. Cool looking place, wooden floors and friendly waitresses .very nice waitresses. had the New Yorker burger. cooked through and juicy. am looking forward to my next visit for their mushroom burger. smash fries are nicely seasoned with garlic and rosemary and cut thin. buttetfinger shake was awesome. literally a liquid butterfinger.

Kinda middle. of the pack, burgers were decent although pricey, fries were too thin and were terrible. Don’t waste your time, plenty of other better burger spots.

Went for the first time and was disappointed. The place itself was cute and I liked the décor and the big menu. The burgers just weren’t that great. I got the avocado one my husband got the mushroom Swiss one. The bun to meat ratio was way off the burgers were too small.
We got the smash fries which I liked the thin shoestring style but they just weren’t my favorite. In terms of these burger joints I prefer bobbys burger palace as a direct competitor to this. And five guys although it has less frills has better burgers.
I’d like to go back to try the chicken sandwiches but I won’t rush there.

I visited the new SmashBurger in Lindenhurst and I have to say it was great. I went around 4:30 pm and there was no wait. I’ve never eaten at a SmashBurger, so when I ordered I wanted to keep it as simple as I could. They have a nice selection of burgers to choose from, with a variety of toppings, etc, but I stayed true with the Classic burger with smash fries and a chocolate shake. I was NOT disappointed. It was great. Everything about it. The traditional toppings of lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles were exactly how you’d want them. Fresh and crisp. If you’ve never had smash fries, you’re missing out. They are tossed with salt, olive oil and Rosemary. Unreal. And the chocolate shake was a perfect accompaniment.
Don’t look for dollar menu kind of stuff. That’s not what this is. You pay for quality. And that’s what this is. My burger, fries and shake came to almost $ 15. Don’t let that scare you away. It’s worth it. I promise.
I highly recommend SmashBurger. It’s exactly what that town needs. A higher end burger joint with excellent, «quick» food.

FINALLY there is a Smashburger close by. We were long looking forward to the grand opening of the Lindy location. We’ve frequented the Hicksville location and have gone to the Wantagh location as well.
For starters, I really dig the interior of this Smashburger. Love the wood, exposed brick and large fans overhead. Cool. Both times we’ve come here, there was no line. Also very nice.
We ordered our create-​your-​owns both times. First visit, I got the veggie, boy got the grilled chicken and we split an extra grilled chicken (less guilt than the fries and extra protein). We ordered each sammy with the peppercorn aioli sauce, with an extra sauce on the side. Not only did we not get the aioli on either of the three sandwiches, we also didn’t get it on the side. So I had to request it and wait. Being almost nine months pregnant, when food is in front of me, I want it in my belly NOW. I wondered if there was an issue with their computer ordering system that this wasn’t being properly put in.
Second visit, ordered the create your own veggie and the boy got his chicken. Plus sweet potato fries. Of course, I ordered it with the aioli as did he. Again, neither sandwich had the sauce on it. So, I asked for the sauce from one of the runners. And I waited, and waited, and waited. More than 5 minutes passed before I waddled up and asked someone who promptly handed me two sauces.
Overall, I like Smashies. I love the fact that they make their veggie burgers in house and that they are a generous size. And very tasty. I especially love the peppercorn aioli sauce. I wish they sold bottles of it. However, the prices do add up fast, so join their loyalty program. We got e-​mailed $ 5 off a $ 12 purchase which is great. Also, don’t bother with the avocado for the $ 1 add-​on. I got it, and received a measly little avocado slice.
This being a new location, I am sure they will work out the kinks. All the servers/​runners were lined up by the kitchen window area so that part of the restaurant looked a little hectic. But, food was brought out promptly. We will be back.

They will not take a phoned — in takeout order without a credit card #. Is paying cash suddenly a crime? STRIKE ONE.
BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger… best part of it was the house made sauce, of which there was about a teaspoon worth on it. WHY? STRIKE TWO.
Chili cheese fries had about a tablespoon of actual chili on them… probably the worst I’ve had in my life. STRIKE THREE. YOU’RE OUT.
The burger field is filled with a lot of great places to get you’re fix… SMASH BURGER is not one of them.

This new fast food place is working really hard to get things right — and succeeding.
Food ⁸⁄₁₀: Burgers were very tasty and lots of options.
Service; ⁹⁄₁₀ — For fast food the service was great. Quick ordering and when we were seated we must have had 5 people come up to us and ask us if everything was ok. I’m sure that’s because the restaurant is new but let’s see if they can keep it up. Unusually high service score for me for a fast food place.
Ambiance: ⁷⁄₁₀ — Fun place to eat in. Can be a bit noisy with all of the hub-​bub of people ordering. Enjoyable and energetic when it is busy.
Cleanliness: ⁸⁄₁₀ — No visible issues. Brand new establishment.
Restrooms; n/​a — Didn’t visit
Parking: ⁹⁄₁₀ — Nice big shared parking lot.
Overall: 8.5 /​10 — For fast food this place is much better than McDonalds or the like. I will definitely be returning.

The wait wasn’t bad they handed us menus while waiting on line to order. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. We were given a number to place on our table and I must say the food came out pretty fast much faster then we expected. The burgers we’re delicious and juicy. The fries were also fresh. My teen kids said the shakes was soooo good. The very friendly manager walked over to explain that the avacodos they had were not ripe enough and if I didn’t mind the substitute for guacamole besides that he also gave me a coupon for free entrée I do appreciate the manager going out of his way doing so. Our dining experience was excellent!

Came here for lunch on their second day open. Music is loud, atmosphere is casual but the crowd got a little loud also. Got the New Yorker burger and regular fries and liked both.
