Stella Pizza II

Omg I can’t even explain how awesome the pizza is here. Doesn’t matter what kind you get its all delicious. I come here every other month when I visit NY from Florida where apparently someone lost the pizza recipe. I love love love Stella’s.

For pizzerias, this place deserves 5 stars. It was my first time ordering, but the fried calamari stayed tender after being delivered and was excellent… The chicken roll was very good as well… And the grandma pizza was one of the best square pizzas i ever had. The price was good too and theres alot leftover.

A big fan of the garlic knot pizza. Full of flavor and of course garlic. The pizza itself was delicious as well. Not greasy at all. Big fan will be making it back to try all the other unique slices and pasta !!

This place is amazing!!!
The pizza is wonderful and the food is so delicious as a real Italian cuisine.
Everything is fresh and original and the atmosphere make me feel so good as when I lived in Italy and went out with my friends.

Grandma pie… Amazing. Delivery was quick and painless, food was still hot and fresh. Finally found my pizza place in the area.

After a few weeks of rehearsals at the Studio Theatre on Wellwood Avenue in Lindy, I needed my pizza fix. So I made a walk down to Stella’s II. Gino’s and Mr. G’s turned out to be good bets, so let’s see if I could get a slam dunk three for three…
Well, yep, they turned out to be one o the better choices in the area, sliding Mr. G’s down to third, with Gino’s still in the top spot.
Before I even got my slices, the service was great. This is worth an up top mention because they were BUSY. Really busy. The phone was ringing like crazy, they were hustling to fill orders to go and still they made sure I and my two little slices got their undivided attention and even found the time to deliver them to my table.
Great pizza, with generous, but not overwhelming cheese. The sauce was noticeable, but not overbearing. A very pleasant tang to the sauce really made it just a little more interesting than average. The crust: perfect. A second trip got my wife a sausage and pepper slice, which I had a portion of. Equally great. Their chicken bacon ranch is also worth a luck.
So, really, Stella’s Pizza II is a great place for a quick bite.

ordered chicken parm and it tasted funny it made me gag after I took a bite there was something hard inside of the chicken and when I took it out of my mouth and looked at it it looks like some greenish brown thing I’m not even sure what it was I’m never going back there again food was terrible

The food was ok, staff was not. Called for 30 min to make an order, no answer. Went in to make the order, young girl at register actually seemed bothered to have to take an order, rolled her eyes at us, and after the attitude, still messed up the order. Called back to re order and explain and what happened, 30 min calling again, no answer. would not recommend, will not eat there again. Plenty of better pizzerias around like Mama’s.

Was in area for work and grabbed a cheese steak and small cheese pie… All I can say is I have found a new favorite place to eat when I’m in the area. Best I’ve had in a long time… If I could put 6 stars I would. With all the great food places in NY I suggest you try Stella’s at least once and you will see what I mean… Thanks

I can always count on Joe to make me a delicious meal. It’s alway fresh and I never wait long. My favorite neighborhood go to.

3 stars for their pizza… never tried the food there… they usually have a coupon in the local paper. nice people too there.

If your looking for a cheap family meal this is the place but remember you get what you pay for. Food is ok nothing special. Pizza is not that great. Stick to the food dishes.

Being new to lindenhurst looking for a decent pizza joint ive tried a few aroubd and the pizza sucked. I guess nassau county pizza is just a lot better. Anyway i stumbled upon this joint and said what the heck. Ordered 2 siccillian slices and they were by far the best in lindenhurst ive had yet. I will try others but for now pizza night will be stellas

Good pizza especially the grandma. good heros my favorite is the chicken parmigiana. I’ve had a couple of dinners here the lasagna was good. Chicken sorrentino missed the mark. The Caesar salad was pretty much just shredded lettuce with loads of Romano-​Parmesan. The phone host is always rude but that’s to be expected at every pizzeria so no disappointment there.
Fast delivery good in a pinch but if I’m not getting pizza or a hero in probably ordering from another pizzeria.
Summary– ok pizzeria in an ok pizzeria town

Pizza is incredible, no other way to put it. Service is best you can ask for, and the food is incredible. Pasta dishes can easily beat high end expensive Italian restaurants in quality and taste. Delivery is always fast and their drivers always go out of the way to make sure you’re 100% satisfied. The owner is such a great guy he always supports the community and gives back to the village of Lindenhurst in phenomenal ways. I’ll never forget after sandy seeing him go door to door on my block and handing fresh pizza to everyone who’s too busy trying to clear and rebuild and didn’t even think about when their next meal would be. I can’t go anywhere else, Stella’s pizzeria is the best pizzeria in Lindenhurst, God bless them!

What a disgrace! This use to be a really good pizzeria. Tonight was the worst experience ever! We ordered a plain pie and a Sicilian with extra cheese, half pepperoni, ricotta and olives. The pie gets here an hour later the the half is missing the ricotta, and also has broccoli, zucchini and spinach. We called to explain and they said not to worry, they would send a whole new pie. Ten minutes later a confused kid calls back asking how the pie was suppose to be made again, I guess because it wasn’t written down the last two times we spoke with them. The driver gets here another hour later and insisted that we give him the other half of the pie back. We open the new pie and it was not a whole pie as promised, it was just a half which would have been fine since it was all we really wanted except for the fact that it was much skimpier, dry and sloppy. I didn’t care that he didn’t let us keep the old pie because we didn’t want it anyway, but just the way the driver asked for it was rude and condescending, almost like he was proving a point. That was very annoying because it was obviously their mistake and we order from them constantly! More importantly, it really TURNS MY STOMACH to know that they went ahead and SOLD THAT HALF A SICILIAN PIE TO CUSTOMERS AFTER IT WAS SITTING ON MY DINING ROOM TABLE FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH EVERYONES HANDS IN IT! It really is a shame because this use to be a very good pizzeria, and these kids drove it straight into the ground!

Got a good deal for two pies, garlic knots and drinks… However, the pizza was bland. The tomato sauce had absolutely no flavor. And the pizza was very thin… I like my pizza nice and fluffy. BUT, I fell in love with their garlic knots!

Ordered last night on a whim– and boy was it a good idea! My husband got a chicken parm hero which came in a nice little box rather than wrapped in aluminum foil. It was fresh and not soggy or greasy! We also ordered a pie half sausage half cheese. The pie was perfectly well done! Our order was delivered so quickly and the delivery guy was very nice. Price is right and food is amazing! This will be our new go to for local pizza!

My husband and I are extremely fussy eaters and it is rare that we come across a restaurant where we are 100% pleased with our meal from soup to nuts (no pun intended). LOL
We found Stellas through Unilocal.We were looking for a new pizza place because, quite frankly, we were tired of being disappointed in all of the pizza places that we have tried in our surrounding area. The reviews for Stellas were so good that we figured we would give it a try. One of the reviews, btw, said that the mashed potatoes pizza was outstanding. That was an understatement!
We went there this evening and had a salad, a cheese calzone, the mashed potato pizza, a regular slice and a meatball hero. Everything, across-​the-​board, was so delectable and so fresh! I was truly amazed that I could not find one thing wrong with the food here. Lol Even the olive oil for the salad and bread that the owner, Joe, put out to the table for us was top shelf! And believe me… I am a connoisseur of olive oil so I know.
Speaking of the owner, Joe. What a gentleman! He took the time to come out from behind the counter and chat with my husband and I. He was personable, warm and a great conversationalist. He took 15 minutes out of his time to share with us about life, past experiences, food and most importantly family. I am not sure what was more enjoyable this evening… The food or the conversation with Joe.
Dining in or taking out… Whatever is your pleasure. Stellas is a must!

Great local Pizza place in Lindenhurst.
This was actually my first meal in Lindenhurst and I’m glad it was good.
The staff is always friendly, food is always fresh and delivery always quick.
They have great regular slices as well as some pretty awesome specialty ones too. Hello chicken bacon ranch and garlic knots pizza… yes you read that right.
If you’re in the area you should stop in and have a slice. Or four.
