I haven’t been to its new location until last week. I was a frequent customer when it was on Emerson Avenue in Lindenwold. I stopped in for a turkey hoagie. The woman who took the order was friendly and brought the sandwich out to me from behind the counter when it was made which wasn’t necessary. It was a big and delicious sandwich. I may go back and try the pizzas which looked tasty since I now know where the new store is.

We just discovered Balsamo’s a few weeks ago. We have only ever gotten delivery but we have been happy with our order every time! Our food always reaches our house in a timely manner and the food is always hot. We have tried everything from their pizza to their sandwiches and appetizers, not to mentiom a few of their fries(which is a large selection). The pizza is our favorite from any other local place! And if we aren’t in the mood for pizza they have many other choices. Our next goal is to try the beer delivery because that sounds super awesome. Keep it up Balsamo’s!

We all know there is a pizza shop on just about every corner, it takes something extra to stand out in a very crowed market. Balsamos does this in every way possible. Besides the amazing selection of craft beers available, they listen to their customers know them very well. High quality ingredients, extensive menu that is always updated with new and tasty meals. This pizza shop cares about it’s community and it’s customers. I myself LOVE the pizza, wow, amazing. The burgers are huge, juicy, covered in great great cheese and CRISPY bacon! I could name everything on their menu, it’s all great! I eat here often and have never had anything except fresh, hot, properly cooked orders. After reading other reviews, I think most of the negative reviews are jokes. The neighborhood is safe, if something IS incorrect with your order, the staff will bend over backwards to make it right, assuming of course you act like an adult. I’ve seen customers flying off the hook, acting like childish animals over the smallest things, honest mistakes before Balsamos has even had the chance to clear up any issues. Point blank, this it a local business that uses the best ingredients, is involved in their community, cares about it’s staff and customers, is one of a kind with the beer and extensive menu. I’m a customer for life.

Was a routine customer. However, the portions have become pathetic. Tonight, I ordered a cheesesteak and picked it up to find out half the sandwich was bare. Upon calling, I was told thats normal and theres nothing wrong. I offered to bring the sandwich in and was told it doesn’t mean they would change anything and I shouldn’t waste my time. Very unprofessional.

I haven’t gotten food for my family from Balsamo’s for some time now and after ordering the meal tonight I remember why. The quality of the food is poor. The pizza looked like a truck ran over it. The dough was not fresh. The pepperoni on the pizza was hard. Just bad. Half the pizza went in the trash. We also ordered a cheesesteak that the roll was stale. A real shame. It seems like the owner spends more money on his sports team displays and TV’s than the food he is serving. Can’t believe people waist their time and money in this place. i would recommend G & G or Soprano’s on the Pike. The other 5 star reviews must be owner/employee.

This place is super convenient as its right around the corner, and we’ve ordered from here plenty of times. They deliver beer(no longer have wine). You just have to pay with a credit card and show a matching ID at time of delivery. The food is usually good, fresh etc, and staff is friendly. Menu is huge. A few cons — one or two times the wings made us queazy and the pizza was a little soggy. Also if you have a big group and decide to eat in, they will not allow you to push tables together to sit with each other? Which seemed a little odd to me if we would even push them back. Feel like they should be able to accommodate the customers. Otherwise overall a good place for a quick dinner.

Again, as you can see from the comments this clown left not only is he a poor businessman, he doesn’t value his customers. If you are looking in the area check out Massos or Sanremos. Much better food!

I’ve been getting food from here for a long time. Recently from their newer location. There pizza is among the best, there cheese is great. The only problem I have is eating too much of it, I end up nearly eating the whole thing by my self. Today a friend of mine got pizza at Scotto’s and while it was good, it was not as good as Balsalmos.

Interesting vibe, GREATPIZZA! Must try the HUGE Pizza! Fun thing to bring to a party. I consider myself a pizza con-issuer and I sincerely love the taste of their pie. Interesting sports memorabilia of high quality worthy of checking out while you wait. The restaurant shows love of ones job and is family run. I have been a fan even at their prior location. They really put a pretty nice personal stamp remodeling the new location, its upper-casual in atmosphere, similar to a hipster populated-divebar. Its nice and trendy with updated furnishings and appeal, however if you look to close with the lights on, its not that clean cut, and has a slapdash attention to detail accompanied with a kinda-dirty bathroom. I recommend this one!

Balsamos is a great local restaurant that serves up delicious, consistent food. Their customer service is awesome, very polite, and I have never had an issue with an order. They also have a really great and involved presence with the community and local charitable foundations.

Only ever really ordered pizza, beer and appetizers from here. Love the pizza, it’s always been hot and fresh. The beer selection is awesome, with a good selection of craft beers as well as your standard beer flavored waters and they are fairly reasonably priced compared to a liquor store. I don’t mind paying slightly more for the one stop shop convenience. The best part is they’ll deliver beer right to your door with dinner. Like all places, delivery can be a bit of a wait sometimes but unlike some places I’ve experienced you still manage to get hot fresh food. After reading another ridiculous review I just want to add that this place is in a perfectly safe residential neighborhood. I do not live in this neighborhood, but drive through several times a week. Anyone who says they didn’t feel safe going here has never been anywhere near here and most likely has an axe to grind. In fact I almost bought a house a block from here but didn’t only because of issues that came to light during the home inspection.

Hey I only wanted to order a nice Sicilian pizza after a hard day of gardening. I certainly did not expect such a load of grief from the manager. So I spent my money elsewhere at Scotto-s in Clementon. Got a savory pizza in a safe neighborhood.

First off this is a to go place that happens to have seats and tvs. If you order carry out you are in a better position. Then the pizza. Every thing other than their cheese, which they are really proud of, comes out of a can. Got a Sicilian pizza with mushrooms and olives added. The crust was so soggy from the veggies coming fresh from the can. Mediocre pizza. Papa johns is still better. Don’t waist your time.

I have ordered from Balsamo’s on a few occasions, and they have piss poor customer service. They are rude to you when placing an order, they act as if you are bothering them. I don’t’ know how this place gets good reviews, other than the fact that they do cater to a lot of police officers which in turn, I“m sure creates positive buzz for this shop. The fries are nasty, and the pizza nothing to rave about. They serve beer here now, so I guess that is an attraction for some people.

I LOVE this place! Pizza is always delicious and hot! We usually get pepperoni and bacon, have sometimes gotten mozzarella sticks, wings, fries-all things have been good but the pizza is really where they shine. Sadly we live walking distance from a pizza shop but will take the extra step to order from balsamos. In my opinion, it’s a little more expensive in comparison to other shops but it’s worth it. Staff are friendly, and introduced me to one of my new favorite beers when I couldn’t decide! Good news is if you get delivery and forget to run out for beer or wine, they will deliver:)

They have phenomenal pizza, in a great spot for eat-in or take out. The pizza we ordered here came out piping hot, just the way I like to have it. The sauce was fresh, and its quality is probably never matched elsewhere in NJ. The smallest pizza provides the best price point, while the biggest«party» size pizza provides the worst bang for your buck. This defies the mathematical logic of 99% of pizza parlors. So make sure to get multiple smalls to fulfill your party needs, rather than the one super large pizza. In addition to the price savings, you can also benefit from multiple topping selections as well. The toppings, as well as the pies themselves, were priced much more favorably for smaller pizzas. Eat in service includes two rooms set up with plasma screen set to a sports station(there’s a definite Eagles vibe in there). There are big windows for lighting, and very comfortable air conditioning.

Just ordered here for the first time! Got some garlic parm wings and dry hot wings with a side of honey BBQ sauce. Both were absolutely delicious! Also got a burger which was definitely higher than average for a pizza place. I’ll definitely be eating here again!
