Very upbeat atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. My rib eye steak was very good. Chef made a special chicken marsalla dish for the 3 ladies in our party. They loved it. A few new restaurant«wrinkles» to iron out, but nothing major. A return trip is in the very near future.

I came here with my parents on a Friday night for dinner, it looks just like a remodeled house filled up with tables and booths! They have around 6 beers on draft with a pretty good system that keeps the lines cold — our choice for the night was Sam Adams Winter Lager. Both of my parents got the fish — broiled, not fried — and were very impressed with the flavor and size of the dish. The only complaint is that the fries were a little under cooked, they were the wide steak fry style and can be a pain in the butt to get just a little crisp to them, so it was passable. Friday night is the fish fry night(I forget what the special is?) and seemed to be the popular choice and looked great, I went against the grain and had the BBQ Brisket plate. It was quite a pile of brisket with a tangy and sweet sauce. It had a bit of a zip, but the flavor was great. I was able to finish it all with part of the side of coleslaw, but it was a very filling meal for a pretty reasonable price. A lot of meat on the brisket, not too much fat. The coleslaw had very good flavor as well, not a vinegar based, but a creamy coleslaw. I did see on the menus that they have Creekstone Farms beef, which is some of the best quality I’ve ever had from my years working in kitchens and as a bartender, so that’s a plus. All in all, the food was above our expectations, the beer was perfect and the price was perfect.
