Yorkie’s Grill and Custard

I don’t think anyone can voice to you just how delicious their custard is…
IT IS THE BEST ICE CREAM I HAVE EVER TASTED IN ALL OF MY 21 YEARS
I’m from Pittsburgh, but I have a cottage on the lake 5 minutes away. So, I always get an ice cream cone every time I’m there on the weekends in the summer, and sometimes I’ll go two days in a row or maybe three… It’s just simply the best. It’s so smooth and tastes natural. I just don’t know how to explain it. It’s that good.
I always get the chocolate and vanilla twist. It’s my favorite. I’ve been going there my whole life, and they used to put a little face made out of candies on my ice cream cone when I was little. So, every now and then I’ll ask for it because it’s adorable. They also have a huge selection of ice cream flavored like birthday bash, superman, banana cream pie, etc.
Pittsburghers, if you love Rita’s custard or Paige’s, I’m telling you, it’s almost worth the 2 hour drive.

Have been going to Yorkies since we were kids. The ice cream is and always has been consistently delicious. The custard is extra creamy and the portions are appropriate. It’s a must go to spot on your way through Pymatuning. Big fans here!

Friendly staff! Custard included chocolate and vanilla with a specialty flavor for that day-​Lemon. They also had a huge selection of hard ice cream. If you are familiar with New York state you’ll notice a few flavors based on a school mascot. Price was great. We enjoyed sitting on the patio under the umbrellas.
Location a short drive from the lake is wonderful!

Best ice cream selection in town. We stop here at least once every time we come up. My little on recommends superman.
