Lovely place, patio recently renovated with a rock waterfall and they are working on a stage for their live music band«Sax on the Beach» who are quite decent. We stopped for a tasting and lunch. We were able to have our dog on the patio, they brought water out for the dog. Our kids were with us and they enjoyed the waterfall. They even had a small kids menu. Food was decent. Wines are ok. We purchased Traminette, Moscato Sparkling and a Syrah to drink there. We will go back!

My husband and I had visited this restaurant a few years ago. At that time we enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley, soft music and competent quality wait staff. This past weekend we returned with our daughter and son in law. Nothing was the same except the view. The music was so loud we could not talk to each other and there was no wait staff. Who wants to go out for a fine dining experience and wait on themselves? I would not recommend this restaurant.

This place was amazing with great promise for the planned development on the hillside. Live jazz band on the patio. Excellent food(Mediterranean pizza was to die for) We happened upon the Ozark wine trail as a side note to our canoeing and camping weekend. Hit about 4 vineyards! Bought a lot of wine. Each winery had it’s unique thing going on. I would say this was one of the more fancier of the ones we stopped at. Can imagine a warm spring/fall evening setting on that hillside with the jazz music playing. Just beautiful! Special note to the lady serving the samples… she was just so friendly and made some excellent recommendations. We felt very welcome.

Destination wedding this is the place! We were there for a rehearsal dinner and a wedding. Beautiful setting for both. There was a rose lined path to the gazebo for the wedding. The reception hall had a lovely bride room and groom room to prepare for the wedding. Either an indoor or outdoor wedding can be arranged. The owner and all the staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. The food was prepared at the winery and was excellent and there was a wide selection of wonderful wine. Who could ask for more.

3rd stop on our Ozark Winery Tour! Beautiful scenery with vineyards everywhere. The restaurant inside is quite nice and we just so happened to stumble upon a Groupon for this place! $ 13 for wine tasting for 2, an appetizer to share, and 2 wineglasses to take home. What a great deal. With this deal, you are able to sample 12 of their 13 wines. We learned that their vineyards only supply their Vignoles wines while the rest of their wines use Missouri grapes(except the Syrah which gets grapes from Sonoma). I prefer sweet wines so my favorites for the day were the Traminette, Spring Fling, and Muscato Sparkling. My absolute favorite for today was the Blushing Springs which was a sweet red wine with berry accents. Simply delicious! This may have been my favorite wine of the day out of all the wineries. I would love to come back here in the spring or during the fall to see all the leaves. It’s a beautiful winery that you just need to check out! Pros: — beautiful scenery, great location for weddings — great Groupon deal(good til May 2015) — staff were super friendly and helpful Cons: — don’t get the cheese and meat platter as your appetizer… it’s easily something that I could whip up together with some deli meats and cheese… just saying Why I gave it a 4… Seven Springs should definitely be on your list of wineries in the Ozarks. Beautiful location with great staff. Definitely a great place for a date with that special someone(get that Groupon!!). Can’t wait to come back here in the spring time to see how beautiful it is then!

This is probably the nicest winery in the Ozarks, which is pretty feint praise, really. It’s a nice facility, though, by any measure. On a mid-Oct Saturday the place was packed. People were 5 deep at the tasting counter before 1 o’clock. We beat a bus by about 15 minutes and found a table easily. All of the patio tables are in the shade this time of year, which can be pretty cool. The lower ring of tables in the sun were just right. The wines were pretty awful. If you’re any kind of wine snob, good luck finding one you can tolerate. As with most Missouri wineries, think sweet for the best results. Entertainment was cheesy fun; a band called Sax on the Beach. Only two people, but several instruments being«played.» I call it advanced karaōke. They had people dancing. Which reminds me: if you can do it without seeming like a deperate perv, this seems to be a great place for men to find unattached women. Come with your sister, maybe. We brought our own snacks, but the food we saw brought out, especially the flatbreads, looked really good. We’ve been to this winery four times now and it’s always been fun. Warning; we did see a police car perched along the road once on the way out, so have a designated driver.

Being from the Pacific Northwest, just minutes from Woodinville, WA(over 50 wineries in that town!), I was nervous to try a winery from Middle America. The wines were delicious and very different from what I am accustomed to. I came here on my birthday and the staff was very accommodating when my husband bought a dessert and went looking for a candle to surprise me. The food was delicious, and by far the most healthy option we came by while visiting Missouri. The view from their back patio was absolutely amazing. So quiet and relaxing.

Of the three wineries my fiancée and I saw while vacationing in Lake Ozark(July 2014), we thought Seven Springs was by far the best! In comparison with Shawnee Bluff and Casa de Loco(both owned by the same people), the staff at Seven Springs were way more professional and knowledgeable about wine. They were even more friendly, I would say. Not that the other two were bad… They were still welcoming and provided a fun atmosphere, but Seven Springs as a whole, was just so much better. Not to mention, their wine bottles are way classier, but I suppose that only matters if you like displaying them like I do. We even got to talk to the owner, who treated us just as well as everyone else, despite being the youngest couple in the place. And again, he knew a lot about wine, which we loved! You’ll see from all three winerys’ websites that Seven Springs is the only one without a lake view. Don’t let that fool you, it’s still the nicest, and even has the largest vineyard of which they grow their own grapes. I’d definitely recommend this winery if you’re looking for one in the Midwest!

We are from the Chicago area and decided to get married in Lake of the Ozarks since it is our favorite vacation spot and we wanted to stay in the lake area for our honeymoon. Many of our Chicago friends had never been to the Ozarks and we wanted to get them down there. My husband and I wanted to have a small no-hassle wedding with 20 people total, but we wanted it to be a nice venue with good food. and as a side-note we are 2 very busy business people with hardly any time to spare. We looked for a venue extensively but no luck until I found 7 Springs online. I was nervous because we never had physically seen the place but a friend of mine assured me that it was a beautiful atmosphere. Additionally when I spoke with the owner Mike Biele on the phone and he told me he could also act as our officiant along with being our chef — game on! He also recommended a great florist(Janine’s flowers), bakery(LucyBelle) and awesome photographer(Brad Glidewell) — all of which were impressive and affordable. We had our wedding on July 4th2014 which is a busy day in general and the owner Mike Bliele & his staff pulled it off without any issues whatsoever. The actual ceremony was held at the gazebo in the vineyard which was gorgeous. Our food choice was a 6 oz filet, 8oz lobster tail, garlic mashed potatoes and salad with their homemade blueberry vinaigrette dressing — all was fantastic tasting a well prepared. Between the ceremony and our dinner, our guests enjoyed wonderful wine and cocktails while taking in the scenic views. 7 Springs was a perfect choice. We planned this wedding in 3 months and having Mike as my single point of contact for food, ceremony and venue made my life so much easier. Mike was also very flexible with any changes we made throughout the entire process — he just rolled with the punches and helped make our day exactly how we wanted it. Lastly our Chicago crew was extremely complimentary to the success of our wedding — and they were especially happy with the well-prepared delicious food.

Absolutely the slowest good service ever! Over a hour to get a sandwich! Their wine is bottled by Les Obvious in Rockport. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Seven Springs Winery is definitely not as swanky as the vineyards of Napa Valley, but this is definitely a nice place to hang out with friends. We went on a Sunday in October and the place was rockin’. Lots of folks sitting — enjoying the day and the variety of wines 7SW offers. The live music was free and rightfully so. The Moscato was a very easy to imbibe.(p.s. there’s a typo on the bottle, kinda funny in a mom & pop sorta way). The best part was watching white chicks who had too much to drink, dance.

The drive back to the winery on their private road & the view from the outside deck did remind me of the wineries I visited in Temecula, CA. The ladies at the tasting area gave good service. We happened to stop in when they were crazy busy — the cocktail hour of a wedding that was there — but the ladies in the tasting still gave us great service. They were great multi-taskers(as they needed to be at this time) and were able to talk us through our tasting(we did a full tasting), get us our tastings, and also serve other guests. Even though they were busy, they still gave us excellent service, answered any questions we had, & made us feel welcomed. The wine was just nothing special. I usually like to buy a bottle from every winery I go to… and usually end up buying multiples, but here… I just couldn’t find one that I really liked. I prefer reds, but found all their reds much to sweet. The whites were ok, and I ended up settling on their pinot grigio. Worth checking this place out, but not worth making a point to coming back.

We went to this winery for the first time tonight. We will DEFINITELY be back. The service was great, the staff was friendly! The owner was out greeting guests and visiting with everyone. The wine is great! The prices are great! And the view is OUTSTANDING. There was live music when we were there and we sat outside and our kids danced and we had a few drinks. LOVE! LOVE!!! LOVE!!!

We stopped by Seven Springs Winery twice during our two week trip. The first week, it was just the two of us. We did the tasting of all the wines. The server was great — taking her time and talking to us about the wines and the winery. The second week — we brought our two friends with us. We did the tasting again(great) — but then ordered a variety of fruits and cheeses — and shared two bottles of wine(Spring Fling is a great white wine.) The fruit, crackers and cheese platters were great — and the view from their covered deck is beautiful. Ceiling fans keep it cool there in the shade. We bought about 8 bottles of wine to take home with us. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

A mixed bag. We love the grounds and the tasting room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since we didn’t want to taste the entire flight of wines, we only tasted 3 for free. Well, actually, four. Otherwise it costs $ 7 for 10 different wine tastings. I liked that system because it you could just try a few wines that you thought that you might like rather than pay $ 7 and feel that you needed to try a bunch of wines that you know that you wouldn’t like to get your money’s worth. Some of the wines were very good, but pricey. We shared the savory oil dipping tree(flavored oils with bread to dip) that was nice. Let’s say 6.5 on a 10 scale. We also shared the crabmeat and brie quesadillas. this was very good — 8 on a 10 scale. The mango sauce was an excellent complement to the crab and brie. The crabmeat was a little fishy — otherwise the dish would have be a 9 or 10. Lastly, we had the the crabcakes. they were very fishy. Bad taste Bad texture. Bad recipe. Bad news. Everyone at the table took one taste and left the rest. Disgusting. The band«Sax of the Beach was very entertaining and lots of fun.

I too am not a fan of Missouri wines, but when you like wine, have nothing else to do and there is a winery nearby, you have to go give it a shot and perhaps you will be surprised. This is a very young winery, but the grounds were very nice and well laid out. The tasting room/restaurant was awesome, very open and inviting. The lady doing the tastings was knowledgeable and very friendly. To do a tasting of all ten wines it will cost you $ 7, but since I was only interested in the three or four reds that they have, she let me taste them for free. Bonus points for not making me taste the wines I don’t like and not pay for it. I am normally not a fan of Norton, but I really liked the Norton that Seven Springs was offering. So much so that we got a bottle of it to drink while we ate some lunch. I will admit that about half way through the bottle that I had had about enough of the Norton, so it didn’t completely win me over, but it was good for about two to three glasses. We ordered a chicken, apple and cinnamon mustard Panini to tide us over till dinner and was very impressed. The sandwich was very good and I’m glad that we had glanced at the menu when we came in. If we are ever back in the area, I know we will likely venture back.

I’m not a big fan of Missouri wines, sorry but I’m being honest here. Seven Springs had 10 wines to taste from your typical Chardonel to Sangria and Pinot Noir. There are the mandatory sweet wines, but they are some that weren’t kick you with sugar sweet(Traminette, spring Fling, Blushing Springs). I don’t know how many of the grapes were grown on site(the Pinot is from California) but the grounds are beautiful. Driving in can be a bit scary, it’s a steep downhill drive and the right back up, but when you reach the top there is a cute gazebo that overlooks the vineyard and pond. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view and even an bunch of picnic tables. When you enter the tasting room/restaurant/bar it’s open and inviting with a large patio(with heaters and fans). So even if you don’t like wine there is a full bar and beer tastings. The menu had a little bit of everything from cheese platters to sandwiches and full dinners. The chicken, apple and cinnamon mustard was really good, as were the apple pie pecans! If I ever find myself in the area again I will for sure stop in for friendly service and good food(and maybe a glass of that MO wine).
