Tucked away in the what seems like the back of an industrial park by the airport, Italia’s Corner is a fast casual Italian eatery that serves up everything from pizza and salads to strombolis and pasta. Oh, they also have beer and wine. On my way back to the airport after a trip to the Baltimore/DC area, I stopped by Italia’s, guided by the reviews of fellow Unilocalers. No, it wasn’t spectacular fare, but at least it wasn’t boring chain food. While the prospect of settling in for a pasta dish or pizza was definitely appealing, I was a bit short on time(and didn’t want a gut bomb while sitting on the plane) so I opted for a sandwich. They have the likely suspects here and so I went with something that was a little out of the ordinary: Veal Parmesan. After about ten minutes the sandwich came out, delivered to my table. It was a large sub, served on a somewhat over-toasted roll(you know, the kind that can rip up the roof of your mouth). It featured a deep-fried(very thin) and breaded slice of veal, oozing with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was served with a side of fries. Despite the fact that I couldn’t really discern what I was eating(did I mention how thin it was?) it was very tasty — the sauce and cheese mixed with the deep fried goodness of batter and… meat… was a satisfying medley that had Peyton Manning singing in my head«Veal Parm you taste so good…»(I know, I know — it’s chicken parm in the commercial, but you get the point.) The fries were pretty plain and not so great, but not horrible either — just… unnecessary. I probably would have preferred chips or a salad instead. Anyway, I made my way to the airport, stuffed and satisfied. If you’re around the airport and don’t want fast food or bland chain food, Italia’s Corner II is not a bad choice. Enjoy!

It is behind/corner of Elkridge Landing and West Nursery Road, hence you do not see the main entrance. Has good regular clients, ordering same food, so it is consistent. I had a slice of vegetarian pizza with — cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms. My partner had salad, and it looked fresh and well made. They have lunch buffet with limited dishes — pasta, meat balls, salad and cannlois. For office goers around this place, it is decent place for quick lunch. If you are flying and want to carry food on plane, worth the shot.

I am staying next door at the Holiday Inn and I am in town on Buisness !! I went there after reading the reviews. I ordered the spaghetti with meat balls(Speghetti de Polpetti) the noodles are pre cooked which can be normal in a resturant setting then dipped in boiling water to reheat but these are very«flat» and«weak» also I was very suprised to find out the meat balls are store bought frozen! That is an undeniable taste that can not be hidden away under tomatoe suace. The tomatoe sauce is very watery. There is water on the edges of the sauce on my plate RIGHTNOW. I am weighting this as I am eating. I only gave it two stars because the Sam Adams Octoberfest beer was cold to the point of ice crystals in the perfectly poured glass. I would not recommend this place for true Italian food. All the workers are speaking Spanish and nothing wrong with that except you would think that a menu in Italian would mean real Italian.

Down the road from the airport and surrounded by hotels and industrial park is not where I expected to find good Italian with homemade Marinara. I loved my calzone made-to-order, and their beer selection is alright. Definitely worth a stop if you’re driving near the airport.

Decent food, friendly enough staff. They have a decent selection of Beer and wine. A great walk from any of the hotels in the area! Certainly better than Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel!

Very good New York pizza! The crust was a little bit denser than it is in New York, but still crisp and tasty. I don’t fault them on that too much because I’ve heard you can’t make real NY pizza without NY tap water. I got a daily special pizza: spinach, mushroom, and tomato. It had a ton of cheese, which I love. They had oregano, red pepper, and parmesan on the table, but you have to ask for garlic powder. The place was clean and the service was very good. I wanted to try a special they had, salmon and crab in a rose sauce over penne, but I was in a hurry and they said it would be 15 min to make since they cook the salmon to order. They also had a decent selection of wine and beer for a café. I’ll definitely be coming back here for dinner in the future to try more stuff or any time I need a good slice of pizza!

Found this place hidden away next to the Holiday Inn while my wife and I stayed at the La Quinta. It is a small diner like atmosphere that feels like a NYC Italian Diner. Both my wife and I got the Stromboli. Although the Stromboli itself was delicious, it took a long time for it to come out. The pizza sauce with it was also somewhat bland. That said, would eat here again, as it is easily the best option around the hotels in the area.

The food and service were both excellent. The pasta dishes are a little pricey but you definitely get your money’s worth. The pasta dishes also come with a side salad and bread. Only complaint was that it was a little hard to find. It’s right behind the Holliday Inn.

Came in for a 9″ pie which I asked to have well done. Was undercooked, had too much cheese and not enough toppings.

Very nice people working there. Amazing pizza, on par with New York pies. Ordered the large pizza with 5 toppings for take out. Good ratio of toppings per bite: P. The restaurant is located behind the holiday inn, almost hidden from the main road. Bf and I were staying at the Alotf hotel, across from the holiday inn.

The single slices are really a nice size but a bit greasy. I like this place. The people are nice, atmosphere is chill but it’s a bit pricey for s place that’s not authentic!

Took 30 minutes to cook 3 philly cheese steaks. Fries… ok. Phillies… average. Nothing great and it wasn’t too bad. Since it is located near a string of hotels… it is a good option to have when hotel food is not an option. They had several Italian pasta entrees… pricey. Wouldn’t go out my way to come here unless I was staying at a nearby hotel again.

The guy in charge was rude from the start, acted like I was keeping him from his to-do list, and acted like I was an idiot because I didn’t see the menus laying on a table behind me. Meatballs in my sub tasted like they were prepackaged and boiled, tasteless. Bread and sauce were ok. Fries were undercooked, low end quality, like high school fries. Inside was upbeat, clean and nice looking. I’ll try something else next time.

Needed some dinner while staying in an area hotel, so called in an order. Large pizza, eggplant parm sub and 4 salads ran $ 45. Had to wait a bit, but food was very good and the folks are friendly.

Friendly staff, cute atmosphere, and a seemingly popular place(although it’s location gives few other dining options), but the food is less than desirable. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a side Caesar salad. The salad arrived first, and it may have been a mistake, but it appeared as though someone took the top off the Caesar dressing and dumped ½ the bottle on my salad. One of my eyes closed when I took a bite it was so saucy. The pizza had limited flavor, aside from the pool of grease it was swimming in. :/try again, guys.

This is a great little place to stop in for lunch if you’re in the area. The prices are pretty reasonable and their pizza is legitimately good. The sauce is good and the cheese is the right mix of taste and elasticity. Only once was my slice just a little too soggy, every other time it has been great. The service staff is really friendly and service is fairly quick. Definitely will be back!
