The steak sub I ordered left more to be desired, the staff was awesome which made it worth it. I would revisit this place and try something new on the menu

They have the best French toast!!! Big serving that everyone in the family can share. Since they are closed on Sunday’s make sure you pick up breakfast during the week or on Saturday morning.

My favorite place back home to get a cheese steak yummy so damn good. Even the blt is awesome! You want a good cheese steak this is the place ! Fries and gravy yummy too. Quick and great food.

Had the cheesesteak and fries because of the awesome reviews on Unilocal and Urbanspoon. I was very disappointed. The only thing that was good was the portion size. The bread was dry, the onions were undercooked and the cheese was in clumps (not melted). The meat is ok, they do give you a lot of it. It did need some more seasoning. Someone said the fries were «to die for». The fries were just your run of the mill frozen fries that they put in the fryer. Nothing special. The place is a dive, and not in a good way. It doesn’t seem very clean and after I got my sandwich, I noticed a tub of raw meat just sitting on counter behind the grill. Not sure how long that had been there. I would not recommend this place.

Best Cheese Steaks bar none. I think these people could be 100 miles north in Philly and still do well.
These people don’t mess around.
The amount of food you get for the Cheese Steak combo with fries and my half and half drink is a deal you can’t beat (you have to be ready to finish it all yourself and honestly should be split for 2.)
Only problem is I can’t make this place a habit unless I’m going to pack on the pounds.
If you’re in the neighborhood or going to/​from BWI, a definite place to stop by. Carry outs can’t beat this in my opinion.

Although their food is worth it… delivery/​service is TERRIBLE!!! This is 2^nd time I’ve ordered thru delivery and being completely unsatisfied. First time I ordered breakfast @ 10am but didn’t receive order until after 12pm I wanted breakfast NOT LUNCH! Then today I ordered a sub special with fries w/​gravy and drink, only to be missing my fries. After driver said he’d be right back I had to call checking on my fries only to be told the driver would be here after making ANOTHER DELIVERY FIRST… One would think my missing item would’ve been a PRIORITY or received compensation for waiting while the rest of my food sits getting cold, but I guess not!!! Don’t believe I’ll be ordering delivery thru them EVER AGAIN!

If I had just driven by, I would not have stopped. I looked this up as I was planning my trip and it happened to be close by. Thanks to other Unilocalers and their reviews I knew I had to give it a go.
There’s no tables inside and the outside leaves little to be desired, but inside is the smell of carmalized onions and cheese. The staff are all friendly and the place was packed with people waiting for their lunch.
I ordered the special, rib eye cheesesteak with fries and drink. It was less than $ 10 and I had enough food to feed my family.
After arriving back at work, I dug in. The beef was tender and all the toppings tasted fresh and crisp. The hot peppers were amazing! I barely had room for the fries.
I said barely. I ate most of them.
Try this place out.

I love their cheesesteak subs and fries. Everything here is great, even breakfast. Nice people, hard-​working, family-​run business.

I had the daily special, which is rib-​eye cheese steak, fries and a medium drink. The sandwich was huge and tasted pretty good, of course I had everything on the sandwich. The one thing that turned me off though was the cleanliness of the grill, or should I say lack of cleanliness, which probably added to the seasoning of the steak!

If you’re looking for a tasty overstuffed sub and you’re by the Linthicum area, definitely check out T.J.s Carry Out (or T.J.‘s Best Steak Subs). After doing some driving to figure out the lunch plans, I landed at the very end of W. Nursery Road where a little restaurant sat. I saw the sign «T.J.‘s Best Steak Subs» and thought to myself that this has got to be another restaurant hyping itself up a little too much. Being the curious fellow I am, I went in and gave this place a try.
First thing I noticed when coming in was the amount of patrons already in the store. This told me that this seems to be a popular spot for locals and for those who work in the area. After ordering the Ribeye cheese steak special with fries and a medium drink, I can see why. By the time I was able to digest the sub, I couldn’t even eat all of the fries. By the way, the fries are plentiful. It wouldn’t be Baltimorean of me if I didn’t get a half and half (half tea/​half lemonade) for the drink, which hit the spot as well. The whole special, including tax, came to $ 7.41.
There are no tables inside the restaurant, so pretty much be prepared to pack your food for the long haul. T.J.‘s is definitely worth another visit in the future.
