Just had my hair done with Bonnie. Love it! She was awesome and the salon is really nice! See you in 5 weeks!

Had my first experience with the salon today and I will be back! Ashley was the stylist that I was scheduled with. I hoped walking in today that I would like my haircut. After a brief session about my hair and the necessary need to have’s (pony tail and ease since I have 2 children), she suggested a cut that was what I had in mind. I absolutely LOVE the styles she gave me! My husband says this is the best style and healthiest cut he has seen in a long time.

This used to be my go-​to spot. I used to love this place.
Went in for a haircut today. Said I was trying to grow my hair out so cut as little as possible. Long layers. Framed angled face. Girl acted like she knew exactly what I meant. I was happy. Naïve. Then … Swipe. Instead of a framed face, I ended up with short, even «wisps». Too short to pull even into a standard pony tail. Too short to stay behind my ears.
Mistakes happen. She did say sorry. And she did fix the framing part (after I very specifically explained).
But then she charged me full price!!! No discount. No come back. Nada. I was so shocked, I just paid, tipped even, and left.
When my husband saw how upset I was, he called the salon. They basically told him it was MY FAULT. What!!! What happened to customer service?
Shame on you, Vivid Salon.

I had my hair cut and styled by Randi at vivid and she was great and I even got a discount because I was recommended by a friend. I will be going back soon and it will probably be my permanent local salon.

Horrible place! The technician approached me wreaking of cigarette smoke. I showed her two pictures of a simple bob with long bangs and asked if she could do that. She said she could. When she washed my hair, the water temperature kept fluctuating from cold to hot so she acted confused as to why. She started cutting my hair and asked if I wanted long layers to take some weight off the top, so I told her only if they’re long so that my naturally curly hair wouldn’t end up frizzy. A half hour later, I found myself with extremely short layers and an ’80’s style. I was livid. There was another employee who first said they need to «watch their mouth» because they have customers but continued to use profanity. I will never go back there!

The first time I went to have my hair colored I was very happy with the end result. My natural color is dark brown and I’ve colored my hair blonde for several years. I went in to get my roots touched up and the first time she did an amazing job. I didn’t mind paying 120 dollars for root color and a cut. This past time however she turned my hair grey and when I went in to get it fixed she turned my hair a wheat brown color, not blonde. I also had her put color in my daughters hair. She didn’t lighten the section of her hair before applying the purple color so it didn’t show the color very well. I felt like this particular stylist just didn’t want to be at work that day and did a shotty job out of laziness. I also didn’t appreciate having her tell my daughter to be quiet because there were other customers paying a lot of money to have their hair done. My daughter was not being loud or misbehaving, just being a typical four year old. I would not recommend taking children here as the staff aren’t entirely kid friendly.

When I first moved to the area, this was the closest salon to where I live, so I decided to give it a whirl…
I love a couple of the stylists, but there were a couple who made my experience awful!
They are very over priced also… I went in for a blow-​out and flat iron once, and I was charged $ 60 freaking dollars… plus I had to tip! That’s outrageous!
The last time I went was the last straw and what made me decide to discontinue going all together…

I had decided to take my 4 year old twin girls in for their first trims in the middle of the afternoon (avoiding a big crowd). One daughter was taken care of by one of my fav stylists, and all went well. My other daughter was taken care of by the one stylist that I hate… long story short, my daughter started freaking out a bit, and I was clearly stressed trying to keep her calm. This went on for a few minutes, and the stylist finally stopped and told my FOUR YEAR OLD, «You need to stop crying… there are other people in here!» I’m not even exaggerating! For one, there were only two other people there, and two, NEVER say something like that to a young CHILD!
The owner of the salon was right there doing her hair and didn’t say a word.
Awful.

The other reviews don’t do this salon justice. Bonnie the owner is a master colorist and is impeccable at her job. I also have Emily color and style my hair as well. Emily is super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this salon!

This was my 2^nd visit to the Salon and will be my last !!! I went today and got the same service as I got on my 1^st visit in May 2014 only today I was charged $ 40.00 more .I got High lites and touched up my roots… NOW everyone knows when you get your hair dyed it is washed to get the dye out, so why would you charge someone $ 24.00 extra for a shampoo and blowdry ?? What the hell is this manager smoking ??? While i Love my girl Chris, No way will I be paying $ 170.00 to get my hair done every 4 months !!! So manager you may have just outpriced yourself right out of business !!!

Spent 4 hours and $$ 200 dollars. I asked for brighter and lighter highlightes and I left darker than I came in… I was super disappointed because I really liked the vibe and the stylist. I just moved here and was in search of a forever salon but I don’t think this is a good fit for me :(

I’ve been here twice so far, haircut/​style and another time for full hair ombré dye. Very pleased with the results both times!
The service has always been sensational, from the person I call and make appointment with, to the gals working the place. Casual, young atmosphere suits this 20-​something quite nicely :)

I decided to go to this salon after reading other reviews and by good word of mouth and I was not disappointed. I came in the door with multicolored orang-​ish hair after a failed battle with bleaching my own hair (NOT ADVISED!!) Bonnie, who is also the owner, was able to make it wonderful. She colored it in a flattering shade and threw in about a bizzallion highlights. My hair was amazing afterwards. The colors came out exactly how I wanted and my hair even looked healthier than when I went in. The salon also looks great. Its not cookie-​cutter like chains are and had a relaxed feel.

LOVE THIS SALON! I have been looking for a great salon for a few years now and I found it! Emily is awesome!

I’ve had my hair done at so many places I can hardly remember all of them!
Bonnie is consistant, listens to what I want and has reasonable prices.
