The hotel is quite nice, from the rooms to the gym and pool. I particularly liked the beds– so comfortable. Breakfast is neither bad nor amazing, but fine. Nothing memorable, but everything worked, which is what you want from an airport-area hotel. However, the front desk staff were such a mess– first they couldn’t find me in the system, then they couldn’t find my room mate. They tried to give me the gift bag for a different wedding than the one I was at, and they didn’t give my room mate any gift bag at all! However, despite their bumbling, we were able to work it out. The only reason to stay here is the location(near BWI and the Amtrak station). Make sure to take printed copies of your reservation in case you get some front-desk flak.

The lobby is nice to sit in. I did not actually stay here, I was just waiting for my husband. Seems like a nice place.

Not a good experience and I would not recommend this hotel. After a storm I lost power and I had to fly out the next morning. So I thought I would stay by the airport and I would have all the amenities that I was with out do to the power loss. When I got to the Hilton they confirmed they had rooms and I checked in. I went to the room and turned on the AC and started to get ready for the 4am flight. After about an hour the room was still hot and I called down to the front desk to inquire about the AC. They gave me the normal trouble shooting speech and told me to call back if it was not working in 10 min. It did not work in 10 min so I called back and asked for another room. This time the guy that I spoke with said that the AC was not working in any of the rooms. Now I was getting upset. «did you know this when I checked in an hour or so ago?» sir it has been this was all day. So the question is why would a hotel like Hilton allow guests to check in when they know full well that they cannot offer the amenities that we are expecting. I could have stayed at my house for free and not had AC. I tried to work something out with the night manager but she was incapable of seeing where I was coming from. I left with a completely different view of Hilton and they will now be a last resort in my book. All I was looking for was some understanding and maybe a break on the room rate considering I was not going to get what I was paying for.

Good, clean Hilton. They get an extra star because the bell man when out of his way to fix my TV at 1AM when regular repairman was long gone. On a previous trip they also stored my crab cakes over night in the restaurant fridge. The HH breakfast was very limited.

Honestly I wasn’t too impressed. I was excited to stay in a Hilton because I am usually too cheap to stay anywhere slightly pricey– but I had a wedding to attend, and all of my other friends picked this hotel. There are several nice aspects of this hotel– there are a copious amount of chairs in the front lobby to hang out and drink coffee from their coffee shop, or sit and wait for friends to come to the front door. Everything seemed very clean. When it came to the hotel room, we had a roomy shower that was all glass, and a flat screen tv. Other than that, nothing too impressive. The bathroom was one of the smallest hotel bathrooms I have used in a while. The bed had more decorative pillows than useful pillows! When we came to our room, it was slightly cracked open, and all the drawers were pulled out(which is fine, but it’s weird to have evidence that people were just in the room you are about to use). The bed was comfortable, but nothing too special. There wasn’t too much room to move around because there was a gigantic desk jetting out into the corner of the room, and a chair right next to that. Also, the hotel attendants weren’t too helpful. When we first pulled into the parking lot, trying to figure out where to go, we drove past the front of the building where a hotel worker was standing. The hotel had rented out the front of their parking lot to some sort of car dealership, so there were cone raceways set up. We were confused and driving around, and when we saw there was no spaces, the hotel worker pointed us to the back of the hotel, which she could have done before we even drove into that whole mess. So parking was completely awful, considering more than 50% of their lot was being rented out. Its nice to go to a hotel company that is well known– but its disappointing to find out it is exactly the same as a hotel that is 70 dollars cheaper a night. If you don’t care about spending the money, then its just a good, clean, hotel. But don’t expect anything absolutely fabulous just because you did!
