Ryan’s Barbershop and Shave Parlor

Checked this place out for the first time. I really dug the atmosphere and the experience. All the guys there are nice. Really satisfied with my cut as well. I wasn’t too specific and got exactly what I wanted. They also carry bears oils and care products for the bearded fellas. Prices are fair. I think I found a new place for sure.

I am always happy with my hair cut. The person who cuts my hair is Darren he is awesome we knows how to cut my hair. My dad gets his cut from Mike he is awesome he gives a hell of a shave my dad says

A real man’s place… the best barber shop ever… All it’s missing is some tattered Playboy magazines to be completely old school. Darren is the man.

This place is like an old school barber shop! Best place I have ever been, and I’ve lived in a lot of places! It is a fun shop!

Great shop, great prices, and likely the last of the straight razor shave shops. They also sell beard oil– this is the only local store I have found to carry beard oil. Guys, you owe it to yourself to try this shop.

A few months ago I grew a beard. As time wore on, I decided to shave it off. The more I thought of it, the more I cringed. It’s a long story and not ripe for this forum. Regardless, I decided to search the other day for a place that provides single-​blade shaves. This place popped up. There is an excellent article in The Press from a few years ago.
Ryan’s is a real barbershop. It is all male.
At 20 past opening there was already a long wait. The sitting area is comfortable. There is a good vibe among the customers, Ryan, and the other barber.
I was in the chair for some time for my cut and shave. The cut looks good. A flat screen television with hunting shows was on until it was changed to soccer. The shave was outstanding! Five hot towels, hot lather, and a meticulous shave was expertly performed.
Ryan’s is nearly an hour away, but I will gladly return for the care I was shown. If one is looking for a barber, I dare say, there isn’t anywhere else to go.
