The only reason they get two stars(and not half!) is because the pizza actually tastes pretty good. We’ve eaten here before but don’t remember having this much trouble. They offer pizzas with up to three toppings but if you just want extra cheese they charge an additional $ 3(on a large) because«extra cheese isn’t considered a topping, but it’s an extra topping». Then, when we were considering regular toppings and asked for ground beef they told us they don’t have that. Then, as a last resort, we were about to order personal pizzas for our daughter and myself and my husband would get a calzone the server blatantly informed us that they would charge me more for the exact same thing because an adult was eating it! I would think small mom and pop establishments would make an effort to retain the few customers they still have but apparently Italo’s only wants as much as they can get out of each person the one and only time they go.

The pizza isn’t my cup of tea and the food is rather mediocre in general, however, if you are looking for middle of the road pizza, chicken, and potatoes for a weekend night or rainy day, this might suffice. The fried chicken is pretty good.

Pretty good food. I have tried pizza, Jojo’s, chicken, salad, calzones and Stromboli. I only have two complaints. The mushrooms are canned(which I think should never happen) and the Stromboli could have more flavor by far. a bit more sauce would make it perfect. besides that this place is great and you cant beat the prices! it even has a drive up window!!!
