I just wanted to thank the entire staff at Blake Lamb. They have all found their calling for helping people go through one of the most difficult times in our lives. They are all truly caring and concerned to help you with all of your needs. The facilities are all updated, very comfortable and clean. They look at every detail. About a month after the service they called me and gave me a beautiful pendant with my husband’s thumb print on it. It is my most treasured piece of jewelry (and I have some really nice jewelry!). It’s weird to say, but I enjoyed going back there just to talk with them. I highly recommend Blake-​Lamb when faced with this difficult time.

It’s odd to review a funeral home but I have a strong opinion about my experience and thought it may help someone. First, the funeral director, Kelli, was so amazing I have no words. She has an gift of being able to handle greiving people and help them make the right choices. She relieved much stress and was available when needed. I would have given 5 stars based on the whole experience except for an older gentleman who was there for the wake after Kelli had left.
He was grumpy and mean. He yelled at my daughter for passing out sympathy cards even though I asked her to do it. And he not only hit on guests that came but had the nerve to ask my mother (the one who just paid thousands of dollars to this place and just lost her husband) if any of her lady friends were available. Seriously. No wonder he’s still single. Based on him I wanted to give 1 star as it only stressed me out more than I already was.

If I can give 4 and a half stars I would.
Unfortunately my grandmother passed and my family needed the services of Blake Lamb. From start to finish these guys were sensitive, professional, and great. I don’t have it in me to write any more, but I felt the need to Unilocal these guys.
