Excellent local flower shop! They have some things available for walk in but I would recommend placing your order ahead of time and picking up/delivery. I called to order a bunch of baby’s breath for my brother’s baby shower and the woman on the phone was extremely helpful, took her time and took my order to ensure the flowers would be there when I needed. The only thing I would ding them on would be their hours. Nonetheless I’ll be back!

Flowers of Lisle did a lovely job for my wedding. I was working on a budget, but my flowers came out beautiful! They were extremely flexible and were willing to work within my budget. I was planning on doing my girl’s bouquets and the centerpieces, but she showed me a few ideas and although it was a bit more than I had planned on spending when I was going to do them myself — it was well worth it!

I just have to write a review because i use Flowers of Lisle anytime I send flowers to my fiancée, and have used them for a couple years now. They are great at fast turn around, and have always delivered to her work without a problem. I’d recommend them.

Warning… this is a long review. I told myself just to let this experience go, but here we are 2 months later and the urge to write a review is still with me so here goes… We hired Flowers of Lisle for our wedding this past June and let’s just say that the end product was very disappointing. I worked with Annette initially to go over options for bouqets, centerpieces, etc. We came in with a set idea of what we wanted months ahead of time with pictures. Annette was always very pleasant to work with and very accomodating. We settled on a price for everything which was somewhat high, but it’s the wedding business so I honestly didn’t think too much about it. One thing did bother me, though, initially. About a week before the wedding, I called them to see if they could bring me 3 long stem red roses with everything else they were bringing so that I wouldn’t have to stop at a store on the wedding day. I wanted to pass them out to our mothers/grandmother during the ceremony. Anyway, even though I was spending over a thousand dollars with them at this point, they charged me $ 10 per rose. I mean really? What is 3 roses when you are spending over a thousand dollars. Also they made us pay $ 10 for our centerpiece sample(a single green hydrangea). Again, why couldn’t they just throw this in for us? In the shop, they wouldn’t even cut one of their hydrangeas to show us what the centerpiece would look like without us buying one. So, I guess in hindsight, I should have seen this as a red flag, but I was trying to enjoy the process and stay laid back so I didn’t complain. However on wedding day, they came early to drop everything off which is fine. But we hired them to decorate the ceremony space as well, and they didn’t stick around to do it. They didn’t even check in with me to see if I was happy with everything. When I arrived at the venue, the girls’ bouqets were as we had discussed– mini green cymbidium orchids and green roses. But my bouqet which I paid extra for was completely the wrong color. I asked for fuscia peonies, and they brought pale pink, half-wilted ones. What really upset me about this is that I discussed with Annette multiple times that the fuschia color(of which I gave her an example) was the most important aspect of my bouqet. We even agreed on an alternative bouqet of fuschia gerber daisies and roses in the event that the peonies(which were supposed to be in season) did not come in the right color. The alternative bouqet, by the way, was also to be cheaper. To make matters worse, my brother’s boutonnière arrived broken which the florists could have easily corrected if they would have stayed around long enough to review our order with us. And the decorations they left for the arbor which we were married in front of consisted of only 3 green roses tied with a white ribbon to either side of the arbor. I mean if I would have known that, I would have opted not to have them decorate the arbor at all. We paid them extra for 6 roses??! When I got to the venue, I was supposed to be having my ‘first look’ moment with my husband, but instead I was on my cell phone begging the florist to come fix our order. He said that he could spray paint the peonies or bring me fuschia roses. I opted for the roses since they were close to what my alternative bouqet was to be anyway. He also brought my brother a second boutonnière. Luckily, we had opted to take pictures before the wedding, so we received the replacement flowers in time. But because we took pictures beforehand, I did not have my flowers for my pictures. To make matters worse, they never once offered to refund us any money. In fact, the gentleman that arrived with the replacement flowers made it sound like a great privelage that they were letting me keep my original bouqet. I mean, I never wanted to look at that thing again to be honest. And as far as the arbor decorations go, I unfortunately didn’t notice them or the lack of them until after the florist had left again since he had asked our venue staff to «set them up» for him right before the ceremony. Basically, Flowers of Lisle started out as a very pleasant business to work with and had come to us recommended by friends, but we were disappointed with the final product.
