A great selection of craft beers here. Very friendly staff too. I often stop in and browse the beer selection. Nice that you can also create your own custom 6 packs with a any of their beers. Worth taking a look.

I’ve been living in Lisle for the past 2 years and I love buying my beer here. They’ve got a fantastic beer selection(I’m also signed up for the beer menu) so they come at an amazing price. I’ve been able to try out new beers that would have costed an arm/leg if I had gone to Binnys(also Binny’s hasn’t had some of the beer I’ve seen here). I get notified of any new selections and the customer service has always been awesome! Seriously love this store, it has the feeling/welcome of a homy store but with a diverse liquor selection :)

Apparently, people get pretty touchy about their liquor stores. Things I look for when I go to a liquor store: 1) Do they have liquor? If yes, 1 star! 2) Are they reasonably priced compared to grocery stores? If yes, 2 stars! 3) Do they have staff that are tolerable and not complete jerks? If yes, 3 stars. If super friendly staff, 4 stars! 4) Do they have anything special or unique to other liquor stores? If yes, 4 stars! 5) Are they giving me free booze every time I walk in? If yes, 5 stars!(Unfortunately, no one has yet to complete this task. Sigh. I like this place for 2 reasons, 1) my boyfriend can stop on the way home from work without it taking him off course too much. 2) They have a build your own 6 pack of some awesome craft beers and it’s not too crazy expensive. What’s even better, is they also sell 6 packs of almost all of the single craft beers they offer in that build your own six pack. Pretty sweet. Also, they do the 6 pack b5 get one free which helps bring the cost down a bit. Otherwise, solid liquor store which has all the usuals plus a few differences.

I will never return to this store. Went in there this afternoon. Wanted to buy one six pack of Bells Hopslam… and they had plenty in stock(over a case of it in their beer cooler) however the clerk told me that they required a $ 50 total purchase just to purchase the Bells Hopslam(his manager told him this) Forget it… that’s ridiculous!!! Plus they were going to charge $ 26.99 for the six pack… at least $ 4 to $ 6 more than other stores who will have it or had this beer. I wish you folks luck… your prices stink and you lost a customer forever.

Unless you’re desperate for a beer after 10PM, save yourself the trouble and head to Leo’s Wines and Spirits or Binny’s nearby. This place has a decent selection and they’re not the cheapest, but not ridiculously priced either. Emily is very nice and helpful, but the old guy(owner?) is really unpleasant and after today I will never be back. I’ve come in here a number of times, I follow them on beermenus, I joined the rewards program… For the past few days I have been checking in for BCS and every employee I have talked to besides this guy told me «we might get the delivery on X, Y, or Z, we’ll update beermenus, just check with us.» Ok, great. Never asked to hold bottles, wasn’t calling every 5 minutes, just checking in on my way to or from home since they’re nearby. So I show up today and ask if BCS has arrived(figuring it had because the store’s big delivery day is Wednesday) and he tells me «Nope». I said, «so, maybe next Wednesday?» and got a «No, maybe Sunday. But it’s only for people in the computer.» «Well, I am in the computer.» He seemed to think I had just filled out the reward program stuff 5 minutes earlier, so my response was met with«Well just because you are in the computer doesn’t mean you’ll get it.» Yeah, I understand that, I am just looking for a bottle of beer! I understand now is the time of year when everyone is looking for BCS and store owners can get upset about it, but you don’t need to be like this to customers. And if you are going to do some special beer allotment when something comes in, make sure all of your employees know. Why, after a week of asking, am I just now being told that even when BCS shows up, I won’t be able to buy it? Stopped the BCS talk there and asked about two other beers I had written down a couple nights ago and was told one«only comes in kegs» and the other one did not exist. Really? So other people are finding stores that are emptying kegs into 12oz bottles? Come on. I’m taking my business elsewhere. Leo’s and Binnys are not much farther from my house and they’re cheaper anyway. Staying open until 11:30 or 1 is not really a selling point for me, and if I do find myself needing a beer at midnight, I’m driving out to Ardmore Station Liquors in Villa Park. So long, Liquor Stop.

While I still love Prestige Liquors better, this place is just dandy in my book. They have a moderate selection of random weird beers, and a lot of the regular stuff. And when they go weird, they go WEIRD! I fell in love with a beer, and they’re the only place I can find that carries it! They also have the great deal of «make your own 6 pack» which is perfect for my «new beer Friday» tradition. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I’m still boggled by the side room with the table and chairs, and getting in and out of the parking lot is a bit of a disaster, but overall, a good and decent priced place to get your booze on.

Nothing too special inside, besides a mix 6 pack section. Prices were a little higher than most stores. Might want to check the dates on some of the products if you’re to buy anything as I could tell that some of their beer inventory had been there for quite some time. There’s better places in the area but if you’re in the area and don’t want to venture too far, might as well patronize this establishment.

Pretty much your typical liquor store. They have the all the norms you expect. They have an ok selection of craft beer and I do like that they price bottle individually and let you mix and match. However their prices are a little on the high side, not very high but higher than Binny’s or Malloy’s. What really makes this place though is the hours. They’re open later than any other liquor store in the area, so if you find yourself running out of party favors around 11 you’ve still got Liquor Stop.
