There’s always treasure to be found at this little resale store, and everything is priced fairly. Highly recommend!

I love this place! Angela P found it for us so we headed it out in search of more Pyrex to add to our collection. Score! I rarely leave this place empty handed. Besides the Pyrex that I’m always on the look out for, they also have a ton of Fire King and Corningware. They have a lot of vintage items not just dishware. I’m talking jewelry, books, records, clothes, furniture, knick-knacks and more! Since the store is filled with booths that are rented, you can’t bargain the prices but usually the prices are good. The staff is really helpful and have even called some of the renters for me when I’ve had questions. I’ll be making a trip there shortly, you can never have too much Pyrex!

What an adorable little store! I came across this shop while I was trying to kill time before meeting friends, and I’m so glad that I popped in. I’ve been back many times now and it is always an adventure. The Resale Connection is a very unique shop that I’d describe as a mix between a vintage/antique shop and a garage sale. The way that the shop operates is that they rent out areas to folks who want to sell their vintage goods. So as you walk through the store you pass into different areas rented by different folks, and each area has its own charm. Because each renter sets their own price, you can often find some great bargains and really unique items here. However, since the owners of the items are not on-site, you CANNOT bargain down prices at all. Everything is as-is, as marked. The treasures that you can find here range from old records and books to clothing, jewelry and bags to lots and lots of antique furniture and knick-knacks — and everything in between! My own personal favorite is old steamer trunks. I can always find at least a few throughout the store. I love antique solid-wood furniture that just needs a little TLC and elbow grease to make amazing, and this shop always has plenty to pick from. If you’re looking to outfit your home or apartment with some great vintage items but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, this is a great shop to check out. The staff is always very knowledgeable and sweet, and willing to help you with whatever you need.

The staff is very kind for starters! I always seem to find something interesting each time I visit the store. I would say this place has one of the best collections and great prices too. I highly recommend a stop here.

This is a great resale store! I’ve been coming here since the late 90’s when we lived in Glen Ellyn and have moved to Oak Park a few years ago. I still return to this store in Lisle. The service is professional and exceptional. The items(furniture, jewelry, knick knacks etc) are in great condition. I’d highly recommend this store.

I usually drop off my donation goods to a resale shop called second chance resale. I accidentally got lost and saw this resale shop and thought I’d mosey on in and drop off my goods. What a mistake bc cranky pants at the counter must have been having a bad day bc I approached her and said«do you take donations?» She said«NO we do NOT take donations» okay sooo are you a consignment shop? «NO we are NOT a consignment shop» umm okay«I thought this was a consignment shop ?.. Isn’t the place called resale consignment?» «No! This is not a consignment shop» holy moly can you get a friendlier person at the service counter please? I would have taken a look around and shopped a bit but was so disappointed with the first time experience I left and found… Second Chance Resale! Whew. Where the front desk gladly took my donation items.

Prices are firm – no bargaining. The dealers here tend to have mid-range collectibles and antiques, mostly 1920s-1960s. There used to be more furniture but now the stock is mostly glassware, housewares and décor, with a few hutches and small tables mixed in. There’s a bit of vintage clothing and one dealer has vinyl records. It’s not really a standout for anything, but a fun place to browse.

What a great place! Went there for the first time yesterday and found it very neat and clean. I also liked the size — not so big that you got lost — but big enough for a great variety of items. Many unique items and fun, quirky ones too! I will definitely come back on a regular basis! Prices were very reasonable. Go and have fun!

Terrific place for resales! Different vendors fill this treasured building! Costume jewelry and gorgeous vintage jewelry(a little higher priced for the larger statement jewelry — but WORTHIT!) antique dishware and vintage home décor. Also can find unpainted wood furniture for DIYers as well as painted pieces. Collectibles for antique bake-ware and dish ware(many priced better than Goodwill — did I just say that?). One of a kind and vintage serving pieces that make nice hostess gifts too. I purchased a wooden box filled with about 20 vintage Illinois license plates for $ 20 — now a GREAT conversation piece in my living room. Lots of costume jewelry for $ 2-$ 3 for my teenage girls. Bracelets with only one type of clear faceted beads that I cut apart to use for pinterest projects only $ 2. A super place to shop during any holiday too with great prices. I found a few rolls of wired holiday ribbon for $ 1.50 each, same with wrapping paper. If you are looking for a gift for someone that collects things or is hard to shop for, this is the place to be!

I’m editing my former 4 star review and giving them a 5 star because they have really«filled out.» Over the last 6 – 8 months the vendors have really upped their game. There is great variety between the booths and I can always find something to work with what I’m looking for… As well as managing to find more than I came in for. The staff is always accommodating and welcoming. These days I’m stopping by at LEAST once a month for my resale fix!

This is my new fav local resale shop! They have over 30 vendors, and they’re nicely spaced throughout the building. So you don’t feel like you’re going to break an antique by knocking it over with every step. Yet it’s also a small enough location that you don’t feel like you walked a marathon by the time you leave. Most of the vendors have very reasonable prices. And with so MANY vendors, it’s hard not to find something! The employees are also very friendly and helpful. There were 2 women helping me look today for my specific needs, and I did find two pieces! I was also tempted to get the Howdy Doody doll for my Mom for Christmas… maybe I’ll go back tomorrow!

I always find nice things here — not a lot at once, but it’s a great addition to Kier’s and my «weekend rounds» One booth in particular seems to always have good vintage pyrex at a fair price.

Well managed resale store. Contemporary and antique items. Many reseller spaces most with good condition products and reasonable prices. Consignment items are in good condition and most are priced reasonably. Hours seem a little short, but I assume they know their business better than I do. Cons I too witnessed the surly treatment of a vendor by a member of the staff.

its really hard to find resale and antique stores in the«wealthy» west burbs. This one is nicely understated with good prices. they seem to be known for furniture here but dont be fooled– lots of «smalls” — glassware, xmas stuff, lights, books, jewelry. The hours are odd– closes at 5 pm during week I think, they do have sales(20% — 30% off) but I don’t think they are«advertised». You just need to stop in. The stuff is consignment so typically its a 3 month contract and if it doesnt sell soon, you can sometimes get it a litle cheaper nearer the end of a contract. and be sure to stop across the strret at the german restaurant– one of the best beer bars in area!

This place is really neat. They have a huge selection of furniture, jewelery, house decorations, etc. I got a perfect table to fit between 2 chairs in my studio. It is painted white with gold accents and it matches my chairs! I saw a vanity here that I really wanted… I will have to go back and see if they still have it.

Never sold anything to them but I bought my first living room set here. 2 Bauhaus overstuffed chairs and a custom made couch from Carson Pririe Scott — 7 feet, all for $ 1000 delivered. They have a large selection of home furnishings, couches, lighting and odds n ends. Stop in here if you need a couch, chair, kitchen table. They only take items in perfect condition and if you hate wasting time trolling garage sales, have no way to get items home — this is place for you.
