Stu was wonderful to work with. Friendly and very personable. He took us through the house step by step and explained everything. He also gave us some recommendations and advice. All in all a very pleasant experience during a stressful time in our lives. He even came back again when we had another question. He spent as much time with us as we needed and never made us feel rushed. His fee was very reasonable. We would definitely use him again. He was very knowledgeable in the codes for our town also. Stu is the man in the Western Suburbs!

I am a Realtor and I recommend Stu often. If I were buying I would use him myself. Stu handles his business with integrity and he is very thorough but not an alarmist. There is no perfect house and while conducting the inspection he takes the time to go over what is normal and what is a legitimate issue. I like that he covers what is routine maintenance which is really helpful to the first time buyer. I know my clients are always happy with him.

Well I just bought my second house, so Stu is the third inspector I’ve seen in action. The first home I bought I was a bit naïve in assuming the inspector would be diligent and find everything. Wrong. So many little things I could have asked the seller to take care of that weren’t noted.
So when I sold my house, I watched the buyer’s inspector at work. A nice elderly gentleman that breezed through it. Nice yes, thorough, no. There were several known problems I saw him miss.
So I find a house I like and give Stu’s service a call. He did two inspections, and wasn’t shy about checking everything top to bottom. I mean he checked everything and gave me a great list of recommendations right away. His report was top notch, was able to perform the radon testing, and was very prompt and professional in all aspects. Truly a 5 star business.
