Divas & Dudes Too

Pretty happy with this place! I left my stylist behind in California and dreaded the hunt for a new one after my move to Arizona. As a woman, you know this pain. Thankfully I found Marianne! She does a great job and offers suggestions if I am asking for something crazy. I recently moved to the east valley and still make the commute because that’s what you do when you find a gem.

Tammy at Divas and Dudes Too is awesome! She always does a great job cutting my hair — I’ve always been really happy when I walk out of there!

How many of you feel comfortable telling your stylist to do whatever she wants to your hair? I do with Ruth. She knows my hair better than I do. In the early years I told her what I did or didn’t like, or I would come in with ideas, and she would help be see the nonsense in them (Mullet, please? Oh, H_​_​_​no!) By now — she just takes really good care of me. Thank you Ruth for always sending me out with a great cut, color and style. Recently someone mentioned how nice it must be that I do not to have to dye my hair! I told her thanks, then told her the truth and then I gave her Ruth’s card!

I used a groupon and was over charged. I also was told that I would not be able to get the groupon because I have more hair. So instead of getting a full highlight I received partial highlights for $ 15 more then the groupon. At the end of my appointment the stylist said I should be thankful she was doing my hair for a discounted price because she doesn’t deal with groupon customers and I was getting a really good deal… I have heard poor things about this place but I decided to try it and I will say I will NEVER come back nor will I recommend them to anyone…

I got a cut and blow-​dry from Stephanie Lugo. My appointment was at 10am, but she did not even arrive at the salon until 10:15am. When she got there, she thought that I was there to get highlights, which I was not. When she sat me down to shampoo my hair, she said «I need to glue my nail,» and walked away. The haircut was very choppy, and I asked her to trim a chunk that was hanging in my face, but she ignored me, and I ended up having to cut it when I got home. When she was finishing up styling my hair, she kept flicking my hair in my face. I’ve never had anyone do that, and it was beyond annoying. When she was finished, she did not provide me with a mirror to look at the back and side, and did not ask me if I wanted anything trimmed or fixed at all. I was very disappointed. Overall the other staff members were very courteous, and the place was clean, but I would not get another cut from Stephanie.

I like the atmosphere at Divas and Dudes two and I love my stylist, Lindsay Hauger. She knows my hair and just what it will and will not do. Thanks for always making my hair look good.

Pat Austin, stylist is absolutely the best. She deserves at least 10 stars. Has always been more than professional and REALLY listens to what you want. Very honest and forthcoming… nice to go to a salon where there are no surprises when its time to pay.
Have followed Pat from previous salon to Divas and Dudes Too… doesn’t matter where she goes, I will definitely follow!

After bouncing around to numerous salons, stylists, and experiencing major disappointments, I discovered Divas and Dudes Too! I had scheduled a random appointment with any available Stylist and discovered Lindsey Eakins, who is vitally knowledgeable, talented, and very personable. I continue to have satisfying experiences with Lindsey and the salons atmosphere. I highly recommend Lindsey and Divas and Dudes!

My girlfriend took me here for the first time. I came right in and was taken care of right away. The staff is very friendly and energetic. I got a great haircut, thank you very much!

Tammy is always great… and always is important! I never have to worry that my cut or style is going to be what I’m looking for one time but not quite there the next. She is always willing to help me with a new style and has a flexible schedule that works with mine. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the services, and the staff is always great!

This place is such a hidden gem! Prices are reasonable and its clean and professional. You can walk in and truly feel that all the stylists get along and make you feel welcomed. I’ve followed Pat Austin over from a previous salon thats how much I love this stylist! She saved my hair after another salon fried it and still made it look a natural color! She used to be a salon owner and has years of experience so you know you’re getting your moneys worh! Go see Pat! Just do it… she does everyrhing… you’re welcome in advance!

Love this place. Its nothing fancy but they do a great job for a decent price. I used to go to a very high end Salon in Portland before i moved here and this place is better and half the cost.
I was seeing a new stylist for the first time– Stephanie. She was absolutely fantastic! I was looking for a specific hair color/​look and she nailed it! My expectations were exceeded! Thank you! I will be back

I called to setup an appt today and was put on hold, okay I can hold but 9 min later come on! I hang up call right back and they help right away to setup my appt she was very efficient making me an appt with her bad attitude I say thank you and goodbye and all I hear is a phone hanging up SMH I’m only going because I have a gift card I hope when I go in I don’t get more of this poor service
