Ok. When you go to the cheapest place in town you think HEY I’ll slum it just this once to save money, it really can’t be that bad. WRONG. My parents come down to stay here in Litchfield every few weeks since I go to school nearby, and the last time we came here it was bad but still livable. It was freezing butt cold and the heater would not work, so we turned the shower on to steamy hot and that helped quite a bit, but no way it could get us through the night. We had to leave the heater on and go to a restaurant or something in the mean time, and luckily the room did get hot. The place was dirty, had random stains, odd smells. I can live with that for $ 50 bucks. It’s kind of what you would expect for that price. BUTTODAY, let me tell you what happened. First of all, I walked in on a fluffy spider chillin in plain view when I set down my clothes in the bathroom, but you know what? That happens. I’ll just let that one slide, its just a spider. Later in the night I was on my computer and heard crinkling noises from food wrappers on the nightstand. At first I didn’t pay it much thought because sometimes wrappers just crinkle. But I finally turned on the light because the noise was persistent, and I stared straight at a fluffy mouse. A MOUSE. I have never encountered a mouse at a hotel but obviously this is unacceptable. I cannot sleep. I hope I can get a refund. This is a warning. Don’t stay here unless you absolutely have to. Dealing with fluffy mice and spiders wasn’t my idea of a good night. —So an update: My mom called up the place and asked about the rodent situation and they told her they cleaned everything, and that nothing is there– basically telling her shes being delusional and that she possibly couldn’t have seen a mouse anyway. SO I called up this time and told them I have this mouse recorded, and this time they said they tend to come in from the cold outside. And that again, they have cleaned and found nothing there. I asked if they could do anything for me(hoping for an apology, refund, anything?!), since I haven’t slept and couldn’t finish my work due to this and they said no. This is not how this was supposed to be handled. This hotel does not care about it’s customers. I won’t be coming here anymore. PLEASE do not come here unless you absolutely have to, this place could be infested and they do not even care.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Mount Gilead, OH
We picked this spot because the doors went straight out to a yard for my dogs to do their business. That was the best part. The towels were stained. Carpet stained. Sheets stained. A wad of hair in the tub. Gross
